Seems like too much work. Maybe Jim should figure out his website to post videos easier

Sean just literally said he'd do the work for you, all you had to do was email him the video. If that's too much work for ya I won't bother asking what you do for a living then:rolleyes::D:p.

That's what the emojis are for. :D:). You have to add them otherwise people will take you seriously.

Like Larry said, I put the emojis in there so you'd know I was busting your balls and not being serious.

Uploading and copying the link from YouTube takes about 5 minutes. It's super easy and you can also text people the link rather than sending a video via text with diminished quality.

It also saves space on this site.

If you don't have a youtube account, just go to youtube.com, click Sign In, and then Create Account. Once you have an account, then you can upload videos. Then copy and paste the video link to a V8 post.

Alternately, you can e mail/text the video to someone with an account, and they can post it to their account and link it. I have done that several times for Duane.:)

Heading to the track for test and tune. I Just have reg tread street tires on the back. Just from driving it around on the roads, it's got POWER. I guess I'll leave the line slowish, I just wanna get a feel of WOT with this motor on the track.
My hoosier drag radials are on back order until the 25th...I'll be switching from 255's to 275's.

Trap speed in the 1/8 and 1/4 will tell you a lot. Don’t worry about ET with those street tires. It will suck.

Well I didn't even make it to the track. The track is 15 min away from where I live. I stopped to get gas 5 min away from track. Well I forgot to put the cap back on and it's gone. Looked down the road all around. Probably went down the gutter somewhere.

I did that one day at the track. While in the staging lanes, I added some race gas, and you guessed it:D Forgot to put the cap on. Left a trail of fuel all the way down the track on a 12 second run.:( Didn't lose all of it though.

O'Reilly has one ready for me 8am tomorrow. Qualifying starts at 10am. I guess I will only have two passes to figure out my new motor :)

I like the Hoosiers a lot. 275 is way to go. I use 295s. Good luck man.

I have ETC mufflers. Look the same. Cheaper china mufflers I had put on w an x 10years ago. Sound snotty on a 400 hp Buick 464. can’t post a video here tho. Decent car that has gone 12.40s w a best 12.30.

Be careful first time out. Many more times and faster to follow.

Best run today was 13.30 102 mph.
Leaving the line sucks until I get the new tires. Pretty much grandpa leaving to keep tires from spinning.
Hit the rev limiter at 5500 thru the lights.
Probably can run faster, maybe low 13's?

It looked pretty good going down the track! More tuning needed...

Just looked back and see a real nice engine combo.
You will get this picking up way more than a second as easy 6 plus mph. Have patience. Leave the mufflers. I’m sure it sounds great.

Curious that it hit the rev limiter at 5500 through the traps. With 3.55 gears, it shouldn't have been anywhere near there. Assuming stock size tires,

336/26.6 X 3.55 X 102 = 4574 RPM. That is without any converter slip. So if you are at 5500 at 102 MPH, I'd be looking at the converter. Maybe you are driving through it. Time to call Jim Weise for a 9.5.
