Maybe Zimmerman should have said, hey trayvon, i have a gun but im gonna put it down so we can throw hands. Come on guys. Like someone said before, when the post these pics of victims, why are they old pics when kids looked so innocent. Post current pics so we can see who they really are.

Why are photos of the people involved important to you? That's just another example of what polluted media is good at doing, influencing a person to make a judgement based on what they see. The faces do not matter, just the acts and the facts. You're a victim of this, outright.

This is exactly why what we take in from media should always be suspect.

Jim, it's nice to "see" you! Snopes is a good start, but even they make biased mistakes, so look out for that whenever your gut tells you to.

In return, here's a pic of me on the left, getting schooled by the fellow in charge of the jujutsu I practice during his visit from Japan last year. The other fellow on the far right is smiling because he knows that what's going to happen next hurts like a son-of-a gun.

    To show the bias

Our US goverment paid for the anti-Zimmerman rallys when it happened including Al Sharpton and the Fla congresswoman who called it a Execution. Thank You US Dept of Justice community outreach fund!

I have seen this out on the web for weeks and actually did not believe it. But a black leader stated it as fact on a Sunday TV show.

I agree. the media is owned by people like Ted Turner. They decide what we see and they decide what they want us to forget too, like the bail outs, IRS spying, spy drones in the US, joblessness and so on... Their job is to keep us dumb, entertained and happy, just like the Romans did at the Coliseum.
Now the ethnic groups (can't call them minorities any more) have all of this to focus on and rally around but all it is is a smoke screen for the rest of our countries issues.

I disagree, I am basing my opinion on what was reported in the trial, and the determination of the jury. Being beat to a pulp for following someone is not justifiable. Defending yourself from further bodily harm for committing a legal and harmless act (following someone) is justifiable, to the point of deadly force. I am primarily relying on the JURY, are you suggesting they didn't know anything either? it seems those who are outraged Zimmerman got off are the ones that are relying on the media instead of those who were trusted by the judicial system to determine guilt or innocence.

You used the word "reported". BANG! If you're privy to some inside "reported" info beyond what media gave you, please share! If not, maybe you're in the same situation as the rest of us.

You seem to feel I've taken a side on this. I've not and won't, and I won't make speculation.

If the system works, the Jury got what they needed, from the Prosecutor, the Defender, and the Judge.

im a victim? Then why post an old pic. Did the media just post a random pic or was the pic released by family to be posted everwhere. Cause the family wanted everyone to think he was an innocent young kid. Maybe we should all throw out our tvs so we dont see anything to influenced us. Hows that koolaid ur drinking

Devon some of us watched live footage of the trial. I told my wife I thought he would be found not guilty of 2nd degree murder before the verdict was in. It wasn't because the prosecutor did a bad job. He just didn't have anything to work with. His dramatics were a little pitiful though.

Anderson Cooper just interviewed one of the jurors. It was very interesting. Gave an understanding of what was going on in deliberating. None of the jurors said race played an issue to them.
