My AM&P 464 is finally here ....

What's a PB Blaster?

 

It is the best penetrating oil I have used, some may not agree, but it works great. Has sort of a creaping effect, and it foams up a little when you spray it. In other words, it kinda stays put, more than the other brands, in the area you spray it. Well worth a try.

Well fellas, I'm off to the shop to get the exhaust sytem and external tranny cooler installed. Some things are better left to the pros.....

She's a little light in the front cause the hood is still off.

You lucky stiffs have Summer all year long! We have to sit and stew all Winter and then wade thru a crappy Spring, until we can try to fix whats wrong. Time slips, time slips, we need time slips! Best of luck.

You guys are funny ... Man, this car is fun to drive !! The power is incredible and I don't have a tach, rev limiter, and I have 14" F 78's..... I crack the throttle and I go sideways!

I put a set of magnaflows and it really dosen't;t sound all that radical. I mean the cam is a .561 / .570 lift with a 112 lobe center installed at 109". It pulls like a madman!! I think that the mild sounding idle (sort of) will fool a many fool and I will be the victor!

Scott, glad to here she's running good. A word of caution, just be carful on the rpm's....these things will spin up like a SBC when balanced with ported heads. No limiter, you can run into uncharted territory REAL quick, especially with those big meats your running:laugh:

as far as the hides, i went throught the same issue just had lowly 235's when first dropped in fresh 462 and then put the 275's on the rear with new Welds and she still has no traction, but thats not a bad thing:3gears:

Mike, once you get traction is when things start breaking!!

I'm still fartin' around fixing little things here and there. One of my side inserts for the grill got scratched during the 400 extraction. I found a really cool website called paintscratch.com. You enter the year and model number and all the colors from that year come up. You can get paint sticks, spray cans, pints, quarts, and clear coat. I ordered the spray can. I'll post how it turns out.

Oh by the way, a BMW M3 tried me the other day. I cracked the throttle and smoked the tires and let off. He thought he beat me or something. If he only knew ....
