    Hey rob

I thought I would share this with you i know that we were in discusion about hooking on drag radials. This is from my buddys 4000 lbs wagon the weekend after orlando. I don't know but it seems to have pretty good hook. He went a 1.27 sixty after this pass on this one it only went mid thirtys on the bck tires. I think I would have wet myself, He said it set down hard then picked it back up to the bumper in second gear.

It figures. I wait with you at the track in Orlando until 2:30 am to see the wagon do that and we were denied. You guys get home and sort it out, of course. :Dou:

Thats awesome Bob!! But can he hook it on all tracks? And in poor conditions, like hot humid days? I know he cant!! Neither can I!! Its nice to have a car like Doug's that can thou!!! He hooks on spit!!!:blast:

You're comparing apples and oranges. Steve's wagon isn't a bracket car, and Doug's car would go quicker on a good track with smaller tires. Do you want fast or consistent? You can't have both all the time.

I just thought I'd stick my head in here. Have fun.

    COOL Pic Bobb!!!!!!

It's funny you mention that Jeff. I was asking when we were in Orlando if I ran those 10.5W tires that most of those Outlaw cars run, would I run faster? I figured I would, since they have less resistance going down the track, but obviously have the ability to get a good hook, and on much faster cars than mine!

It's a really cool car. It was great seeing it in person in Orlando. I never got to see it run, though. The weatherman shut us down.

Thanks for posting pics Jeff. Theres a video of it a few pages back on this thread also from summer when it still wieghed in at 4440lbs. It was great hanging with all the buick loyal down there we had a great time talking and hanging during the rain. All of us that were with Steve have procharged cars Jarred has a 3800 lbs camaro with a 585 with an F-2 on it that went 7.86 @ 177. I have the slowest junk in the bunch but this winter I intend to close the gap. We will definitly try to get back down to Orlando next year and run the Buick and try to do us all proud.
