Got home a little early today and started putting some trinkets back on the car. Installed the hood spear, front hood molding, hood letters, underhood insulation and all the fender eyebrow chrome. Even got to install the cornering lights. All that polished chrome looks so pretty against the shiny paint. Ive worked on that car so much with my uncle when he was alive, that I can almost hear him today in my head talking to me whenever I work on it. My uncle was always a function over form guy. Admittedly, some of the chrome Im putting back on isnt in the greatest shape. I almost heard him yelling at me before that the chrome was just fine and to just put the God *&%$ car back together already!! :spank: :laugh: makes me laugh and cry at the same timeou:
