Milton!!! AKA Stump puller. Milton is an awesome Buick guy who just got a real nice engine, torque converter, and tranny from Jim. It just got put in the car this weekend. Milton is a VERY happy man!!! Milton, I will come by tomorrow. He had a very nice, original, 70 GS455. He's turning it into a tribute GSX and it is looking BEAUTIFUL!!!! This car is loaded and will represent Buick big time! (Short story about Milton's wife.) I know... WTF I've known Milton for a few years. He is an AWESOME guy and has a BEAUTIFUL family!!! His wife is a very good, no GREAT, wife. She keeps the family in tip top shape! She hugs me when I come over. A few years back I shaved my beard off. We were at a car show down in Ft. Lauderdale and Milton brought his family. I walked up and gave his wife a hug. She turned around and said to Milton, "Who is this guy?" We busted out laughing! Keep going Milton! Your car is going to be GREAT!!!
DocsGSX... I think, that's a scary word, we were talking, texting, or threading at the last GSNationals??? I thought you were IlliniGSX, but you are not. We were supposed to meet up, but I guess through all the craziness of the Nationals it never happened. Bummer! You are also in Florida, on the west coast, correct? I just popped open a beer for "WildBill" , AKA WildBill. Bill, you are a BLAST!!! Last year was my first year attending a Wildcat W.O.T. meeting at Bowling Green. Dam, I missed out other years!!! John and Jenn Everett.............. Oh ya! Some of you might not know, John is NOT a hugger. ("Hugger is not a hugger either. He told me so.) Anyhow, Alex and I were in the campground with John and Jenn. Alex and I stayed up till the we hours drinking. Well I did. Alex was only 17. It was still dark and we heard the morning birds chirping. Oh sheet!!! We got to go!!! We drove by John and Jenn's campsite to give them a hug before we left. Whoa!!! Don't hug John!!! The look of disdain on his face. So I left him and hugged Jenn. First, thank you for your friendship for 30+ year now. Dam, you guys are old! I can't wait for the next time!!!!!!!!!! A story about Jenn, or is it about me? I'm very happily helping them with their dragster in the pits. Some of you may not believe this, but I don't drink until after lunch. So I have a water bottle in my hand. (A very strange feeling!) John's going to make a test run. I got to hold the alcohol!!! It's in a water bottle just like the one in my left hand. Jenn keeps telling me, "If you mess up and drink from the wrong bottle, you're going to go blind and die!!! Oh sheet!!! Love you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh heck, yes, it is Lucas' turn. I don't have a zinger for you. Sorry. But, I will say what I've said before... For two guys that have never met in person, I am sure we would crack, pop, flip, open a beer, sit back, and laugh our azzes off!!! My hat is off to you Sir! Your abundance of energy continually working on projects makes me smile. Lucas sent me a picture of his "work station once." I can only bet that his job might be mentally challenging throughout the day, but when he gets home he can't wait to go full blast into the next project!!!! Lucas, it is my pleasure knowing you!!! Just a weird short short.... Some of you might think, "Dam that boy drank a lot tonight." No, quite the contrary. I'm just frigging HAPPY!!! Why, or how? Turn off the news!!!!!!!! It'll mess you up! The hot chicks, and their D.A. husbands walking and bike riding around the neighborhood all have smiles and happy faces. Get out of your houses, go outside, and do something. You'll feel better, I promise. Jim said I can run the thread again on "Hot non-essential women of Palm Springs!" I've been saving pictures on my phone for the new thread. Car is pretty solid. Couple of spots passenger side floor need new metal. That's it really. Not sure on what color/s I'll be painting it. Gun metal gray is on the table. Not sure of powerplant, drivetrain yet either, Pontiac 400 or Buick 455. Time will tell.....JIM
Same here John! IF/WHEN we ever meet in person, it's going to be non productive, but we'll definitely have enough activities to keep the fun police busy for weeks Up bright and early, off to snowmobile today!
Woke up and went snowmobiling with a couple of work buddies. We all got let off but put on call until the 13th with pay, but still free to do what we want. Definitely blessed to work where I do. Anyway, went out to an area about an hour from my house, was 52 degrees when we left the truck. Knew it was probably the last real ride of the year. Rode dirt for quite a while, but got to some pretty killer snow up high. Beauty day, had some beers and some deer brats from the hot dogger (that's a cooking device you strap to your pipe). Was 65 and got sunburned on the cheeks and back of the neck, but worth it. Saw a few avalanches in the distance, hung out, and got out into God's country. Came home and took the lady out for a drive in the Mach 1 to our favorite Mexican place to go. Ate dinner, took a shower, then we sat on the roof of the F100 and watched the huge moon come up while I enjoyed a few beers. 10:30 p.m. and still 50+ degrees out. An absolute 10+ of a day, no matter the circumstances.....
Banshee, Blaster, Quadzilla, Scrambler, Tecate 4? Love my old 2 strokes. Had a few Banshees, but a Tecate 4 was always so cool.
LUCAS!!! Thank you for the very awesome pictures of your "play day." Wow! So BEAUTIFUL!!! That must have been a blast! I also liked the moon pictures on the back of the truck! What at a great day! Soooooooo sorry you, and your buddies, have been essentially laid off. That's messed up, but it's happening here too. I've been gone for 2 days because I've been working on the sandrail. Dang, I'm to old for body work!!! Glad I'm retired!!! I sanded on the frame forever today. I ended up finding 5 different paint jobs. Can't believe the engine still works!!! I have to send pictures from my phone. Tomorrow I'm starting to paint. Yay!!! Hate to say it, but I am pooped!!! Going to bed early tonight, like right now!!! Keep having FUN!!!!!!!
