I only want to know, "What are you doing for fun!"

As you can see, this sandrail is boring looking. The battleship grey paint is blah, the headlights are old, rusty, and antiquated, and the seats are terrible. It's time to give it some love.

I started power washing it late yesterday. I got the front end cleaned up. Lots of paint came off. I need to cover some parts before I continue power washing it. Then I'm going to put it in the carport in the back and continue stripping it down.
I think today is a play day. My son and I are supposed to meet up with some friends and go kayaking.

The snow was gone so I brought the Regal out of storage and then bam we got hit with another cold snap. You should have seen the looks I got driving around in snow storms with my 75 Regal and no muffler. It’s so much fun to drive something that’s not restored and perfect, my Skylark never sees rain even lol.

Yes on a full charge it was jumping up over snow piles and 4x4ing through the yard. Since you asked I can film some more tmrw. Till then here is some more footage from a 3.5 years ago.

I appreciate the compliment but the garage still has a long ways to go. We moved in a few months ago and with a 3 and 5 year old boys it’s hectic. I built that shelf using steel beams and overbuilt wood construction, custom fit around a duct. I used this to raise the trans up:

The other two keys to making the garage manageable are the 12x10 loft and the 12x8 barn style loft shed.

I made the garage as big as we could fit on the lot. The 3rd bay is 44 feet deep, 11.5” ceilings. Floor drains, water, 220, epoxy floor, etc. The Center bay is a mess right now, getting organized and selling stuff I don’t need.

I also developed an organization system to make it easy to find what I have in bins up on shelves (that’s a work in progress). Each bin gets a laminated tag on each end (A1 etc). Lower shelf is A, B is higher etc.

I'm fighting with Fedex. Parts I ordered from Summit are being held in Fedex Jail. They excepted package from Summit and have made several " delivery exceptions". Nice way of saying " we are not doing our job and using the current situation as an excuse". Our local Fedex driver is a smoking POS. Called Summit, they noted in my account to NEVER use Fedex as a shipper again. At least they are awsum to deal with. So since Fedex has screwed me yet again, ( envision a giant foam middle finger violently extended towards the heavens ), I started in this weekend stripping paint off my Formula 400.

It was nice enough outside yesterday to go and do some fishing for an hour or 2 in the sun. It was nice to relax amidst all the craziness. Maybe today is the day dad lets me have some fun and cruise the camino while the buick is away

There are a ton of people fishing here. Which is good for us. We are selling a ton of marine batteries.

I start noticing some women look pretty hot with their masks on. Kinda like Arab women with their faces covered. It leaves a lot to the imagination!

Yeah John... them burka babes just look hot under that BMO thing (black moving object!) 125F in the shade haha... You may not wanna see them white girls WITHOUT a face mask LOL.... ws

Waterboy -- where has that rail been stashed? Your place but moved elsewhere for the Buick get-together? Or was it hiding in plain sight?

My wife and I went for 92 mile ride today in the El Camino. Sunny and 55 degrees and the first day I've had it out from winter storage. With the suspension all rebuilt including new springs, shocks, all new stock replacement bushings, new body mounts and added F41 swap bars the car is a real pleasure to drive. The big block and 4 speed are just an added bonus.
