John it's just exercise when you aren't sweating to death.... Guy my recent land clearing tool. The big brother to yours. F550 8.5 by 10.5dump body with 9' plow and 5 yard stainless sander
Not having much fun, but we were just talking about how weird it is for all five of us to be sitting around in the same room.
We have always been together as a family. I thought that was normal. We have always wanted to be together as a team on most things, we have fun. Much like Waterboy and his family ( just without the beer) Have fun folks and be well, mentally well also.
I've already cleared two acres and it looks like a park. left the hard wood and big white pines, last year. Did it with a ton of loads with just a pick up...what a pain. On to the next 3 acres and will be much easier with the dump truck.
Yeah, I have one of those retractable 12 foot rulers. When standing in line I pull it out to see how far people are apart from me front & rear. Usually brings some laughs.
For us its mote that the oldest had been off at college, middle and youngest are slways at school or sports or studying. sure we eat dinner together, three of watch shows together, but all five of us sitting around in the living room wirh the TV off? not often. Now for fun: Father in law has a vacant air bnb on the intracoastal with a pool. Off we go -- and the dog too!
Have fun Steve, most media is trying to remove that part of our lives. Enjoy a drink at the pool or waters edge as the sun goes down. I think I miss that the most from living in Cocoa Beach and Merritt Island on the water.
It was nice to enjoy a normal fun time for an afternoon with no reminders of what is going on around us. It really was.
I chickened out! So did the other guys we were going to cruise with. Must be something in the air. I did strip down my sandrail so I can paint it. I'm so tired of the battleship grey color! You can clearly see from paint chipping that it used to be bright yellow, and before that bright red. I'm going to paint it the General Lee colors complete with rebel flags. Just got invited next door to drink beer. I'll probably be back later, or maybe not? >
Driving my Wildcat.... to the dog park. Working on my Wildcat. Tomorrow I am going to install a Windsheld Washer Monitor. I am having so much fun with my car!
Cleaning this beast. I know I’m In a while I’m at it stage. I’ll be taking it all apart for a frame off if I’m not careful. : taking interior of 65 Electra apart to clean is fun! Especially when results exceed expectations. now I have to replace the carpet. Too stinky to revive. ]
Chuck, I definitely understand the "Working on my car, and having so much fun!" When I finally put my convertible back together for my son's wedding I was having a blast! It would have been so much easier if I had been a lot better in organizing all the screws, nuts, and bolts when I took it apart! Ted, Careful!!! > I know what you mean about cleaning one part and before you know it you're taking the next thing apart. It's addicting!!! Beautiful looking car you have there!!! Enjoy!
Sean, What is all that white stuff!!! Your 4 wheel RC truck looks like a blast driving it around in the snow. I was waiting for you to drive it over one of those piles of snow! Can we put in requests? What a nicely organized garage also! How do you get those transmissions up on the shelf? You surely must have some help! Stay warm up there!!! Spring is in the air!
I'm back... I went next door to my nephew's to drink some beer. After 1 1/2 beers I was falling asleep. So I went home and went to bed. I had gotten up early yesterday and busted butt all day long stripping my sandrail. I've got some pictures on my phone I'll post.
