    That was my point.
    Good Doctors are artists.
A good pharmaceutical company peddles poison for the doctor to cure us with.

Amended your statement to truly reflect what many "doctors" really do. :puzzled:

Measles is very contagious and is passed on to others through the air as well as physical contact. Disneyland is a source for the current outbreak.

Measles kills one in 1000 persons who contract it, but 1 in 3 develop complications which can include brain damage. If one is vaccinated with the follow up booster, the protection rate is 97%. Even the rate of death far exceeds the rate of allergic reaction to the vaccine.

Mexico is a source for the current outbreak.

And we've all had the MMR vaccine but I'd be willing to bet if you had your blood tested today, you wouldn't show any resistance to it.

My wife is in the medical field and has to go through this and she was found to have no resistance to anything the childhood immunization schedule covers and had to get boosters for everything.

Not all medicine is poison, but a good share of it is, for the simple reason that the poison is directed to amplify/augment your resistance to a disease. If you don't like to take cold medicine, for instance, don't take it. That is symptomatic relief, but the course of the illness will be about the same with or without it. Medicine is good science. The FDA isn't murderers, and claims to the contrary I consider misinformed/foil hat territory. If you get cancer, good luck using homeopathic remedies (also poisons, or else they are ineffective) for that. Your alternative is to have a surgeon remove what is expected to be all of the cancer, but that stuff pervades tissue and it is difficult to get it all with certainty.

As long as Jenny McCarthy and company continue their stupid anti-vaxer "crusade", more people will die that could have lived.

And I'm pretty sure I could find more if I was so inclined. Automatically believing the "FDA approved" label means something is safe is at least equal to believing anything Jenny McCarthy says.

I'm not against vaccines that work.
    Vaccines almost eliminated measles.

Flu vaccines has been successful, when?

Yes measles is extremely contagious. I contracted measles, mumps, and chicken pox as a child, all within one year.

According to this link, I now have lifetime immunity from measles. WooHoo!! I should go to Disneyland and ask for a discount.

As for vaccinations, I'm on the fence with measles. All kidding aside, measles is quite serious.

Took the flu shot for the first time (mandatory at hospital) and eight weeks later come down with a stomach virus big time. Missed two days at work. In fact everyone in our nine man shop has now had it and they all took the shot. Never took it before and haven't had stomach virus in many years till now. Ahh but big pharma got its payday.

I had a few similar experiences, it's why I don't get the shot. I also agree with the previous post where it was said that the potential side effects of many of these drugs is alarming so I avoid them too.

    Polio vaccine worked.
    No more polio.
    Success

    Measles vaccine worked.
Measles under control. (minor break out recently. But, under control nonetheless.
    mostly successful

    Small pox vaccine worked.
    No more Small pox.
    Success

    Flu vaccine,
your words; "millions of persons whose life it saved or whose severity of symptoms were mitigated this question."
millions that got the vaccine STILL GOT THE FLU
    Not successful

You want me to ask someone that was sick with the flu what it would have been like for them if the flu was worse?
    I'll pass.

When the flu vaccine shows results as other successful vaccines have,
is when I'll ask the question you propose me to ask of folks that have gotten the flu shot.

I have been getting the flu shot for at least a decade. This year, I got the tri-valent version at the beginning of October. At mid December, I got the flu. The last time I had the flu, I was out of work for 2 full weeks. I had 101* fever for a full 5 days. I was so weak that I couldn't walk around without passing out. I did not feel right for 3-4 weeks. This time around was much different. I had 101.9* fever for 2 days. Chills aches, sore throat, stuffy nose, but it didn't weaken me that bad, and I rapidly improved after 3-4 days. I was back to my regular routine shortly after that. IMO, there is value to the flu shot even if the match is poor as it was this year. I have never had a reaction to it, and I will continue to get the shot every year.

Comparing the effectiveness flu vaccine to other vaccines is not a fair comparison IMO. There are several types of flu virus and all of them routinely mutate. Every year, a new vaccine is manufactured. It's an educated guess, and some years the match is better than other years. Even if you contract the flu after the shot, it can still lessen the duration and severity of the disease. This has value to older people and those with other conditions. It lessens the chance of complications which can result in hospitalisation and even death for some individuals.

Sorry Larry but I think you are deceived. The thimerosal in vaccines breaks down into ethyl mercury which is 200 times more toxic than the elemental mercury in dental mercury amalgams which in itself is 2100 times more toxic than lead. Mercury is a potent neurotoxin that produces all of the characteristic signs of Alzheimer Disease. Mercury is also a potent immune system toxin, causes inflammation in arteries that leads to arteriosclerosis, activates enzymes that lead to leaky gut syndrome, and other problems.

In contrast, I almost never get sick. But I have no metal at all in my mouth, no root canals, and a good diet with good supplements like 12.5 mg of Iodoral daily. There are products on the market like Super Tonic from the American Botanical Pharmacy that many people believe to be the cure for the flu. I make the stuff in my kitchen and you can too. The formula is:

1 Qt Bragg apple cider vinegar
    1 large white onion
    1 whole pod of garlic
    6" piece of horseradish root
    6" piece of ginger root
    cayenne pepper to tolerance

Grind it all up in a blender ( I use Vita Mix ). Separate out the light parts on top and the particles on the bottom and just use the amber liquid.
Gargle and swallow a tablespoon or so.
The onion and horseradish and cayenne open up your sinuses.
The garlic does all the killing.
The ginger keeps it from coming back up.

    Enjoy!

Sorry Dr., but the flu vaccine that I have received contains no thimerosal. While I am all for homeopathic cures and I'll try anything, I still trust modern medicine and I think your opinions are extremist. Thank you for your input.
