Nothing says we can't reasonably disagree, but my rape comment (which was obvious to me, at least) was a metaphor pointing out that I felt you were blaming the victim.

According to my Dad it was 1953 when it happened... (that's when he left the hot rod hobby)

I just talked to the new owner and he knows the car has been messed with. He is laughing his ass off about this thread and says we're all idiots. What very few people know is that the car has a super rare set of exhaust manifolds ported by some buick legend in the Georgia area, the only set ever done. He figured based on his research those alone are worth what he paid for the car. The port job was done at gun point after the guy refused to work on anything other than a buick. In fact he even found Polaroid pictures in the glove box to document it. :D

Oh well it is worth all the cash then. 250k for exhaust manifolds? I agree what a steal for that money.

At least the new owner did their homework and knows exactly what they are buying...then it's all good.

As long as when they switched the body tag onto a plain ole cutlass they didn't take and post pictures, we won't have to have another 6 pages of BS about FRAUD!

Not sure why you would even make a fraudulent comment like this about a car you obviously know nothing about?
