The Skylark was on Carl Ryclicks brand new black open trailer connected to Doug Heckers 1987 Suburban, all three were taken. "JILLY" on drivers side window...Finishline Motorsports sticker on back window. 1987 GMC Suburban Dark Blue, lots-o-rust, plate # BB9310 New Jersey. This incident brings about a question of security when we travel. Maybe it would be a good idea from now on to have a volunteer, each night when we stay somewhere, to patrol the parking lots where are cars are parked. Vehicle discriptions and plate #s of anyone who is seen cruising through the lots and eyeballing our cars should be noted just in case something gets stolen. If we have someone keeping an eye on our cars during our sleeping hours maybe this kind of $hit can be avoided. This seems to be happening more and more. Now that are cars are worth more $$$ I think we have to take precautions. TUFBUICK
this is $#@%^&** i can tell you that MD will give a weak slap on the wrist if they catch the scumbags that did this. when they caught the Barnes ? bros stealing Hemi cars in PG county a few years back they barely gave them a verbal reprimand. and yes, we do need more security at shows. those Barnes bros were getting cars that were "parked in" at the motel at night. they would jack the car up, roll it sideways on the jacks, hacksaw steering wheels, whatever it took, then take these Hemi cars down to PG county where they would hack up history for a quick buck. why they never got shot is beyond me. so sorry to hear of this, i do hope all is found.
