Frank, I am part of the swat team that keeps people from coming thru the wrong gates or I am the guy who says: park over there o No: or the simple answer: Yes I am assisting Patton.
I made reservations 2 weeks ago or so, and the manager did not have a file for us, but I think she made one. She seemed very nice. The rooms were still 59.00.
I need to start a list of whoever is planning to stay at my place. I have a list from our Dallas board who plan on staying but only 2 I think confirmed from the Austin/Houston area. If all works out correctly, I will be there starting Friday and staying through Sunday until Monday early a.m. So please list your name and if you plan on stopping in Friday or Saturday a.m. or p.m. I have limited amount of couch/floor space in the house, but plenty of room for tents, campers, etc.
The Rate is $59... It is on a call in basis at this point. No Special rate for the group because the amount of people are unknown and I don't think they care about the amount of people in a room. (Or so the attendent stated) ou:
The Rate is $59... It is on a call in basis at this point. :TU: This is to insure that the group will not cancel and they do not lose out on rooms being rented. It is still the prefered hotel as it is a newer hotel and is close to the track. I will be at the hotel with the guys from austin and anyone else. :TU:
I will be at the Hotel Dee. I appriciate the offer but I think I am going to leave my spot open. Also We (the Austin Guys) will be convoying back to Austin so it is best we keep together for the trip back. Party at Dee's and at the hotel..... :TU:
They told me $72, because going from one king to two queens is considered an upgrade. I figured the extra bucks were worth not having to sleep with JR. Anybody else get two queens for the $59? Rick
Dee whats wrong with the white vert.... o No: Dee You can go to bowling green but put an event in your own back yard and you don't want to come. Come help me with the event... Make Frank Cook!, Push David Newton Around, or Talk Ohio With JR. Your Option I will be there regardless. :TU:
no kidding----Frank's cooking is not to be missed---it's a constant stream of excellent chow. Combine that with JR's stories and tales of Buick history and you can't miss it.
White car has a multitude of little problems that I don't have time to fix. It didn't feel very strong on that one drive to Temple and it hasn't been attending our LSPBC shows either. The GS is NOT, repeat NOT fixed and I have no idea what to do next. Same problem for over 3 years. I do something to the GS almost every night. It's not rocket science. I give up.
Did you fix the fuel line yet? Dee, Don't feel bad I have not had my buick to the X bash since the first one. Maybe I will have it ready for next year and maybe you will have yours ready also. :TU:
