The 70 is at least 2 tenths faster. The convert has run in the 13.70s once, and 13.90s regularly. The 70 has run in the 13.50s once, and 13.70s regularly. The 70 is a lot more fun to race--high stall converter, hard launch with 1.8 60 ft times. (Granted, I haven't raced the 68 yet, but I'm sure it won't be as much fun.) I don't really want to make the 68 much faster, lest I be knocking at roll bar territory (13.49 and under.) It would be nice to get into the 13.50s with tuning, but I'd bet it's already pretty well near optimized. I think throwing ANY parts at it (cam, intake, stall converter, ect.) would blast me straight through the roll bar rule, so it's probably going to stay as is. But the drive up would be SO much more fun in the 68. I've got a while to decide...

Is everyone going to stay at Dee's Motel? hehehehehehehe Air matress', sleeping bags etc. what could be better! Dee, how about directions to your place from the track? How many will your lake house hold? Post on the Motel thread?????
Thank you VERY MUCH for the heads-up on this, Phil. I do believe my car will need approximately 288 (fluid) ounces of ballast strategically placed near the right rear tire for traction down the track. Having grown up in New Orleans, stuff like this still boggles my mind. Why????? :error: ou: :error: ou: :error: ou:
