Let me define when you can still call your race car or engine a Buick, since no one else has. If any part of the car has the same dimension including the motor or any part thereof, then I will call it a Buick. Example: If any head or bolt etc. can be set or screwed into your motor or car including license plate screws then you can call it a Buick! For all of those who disagree you can say its not a production Buick but it is something. NO REPLYS NECESSARY:Brow: I will call our new head a head that will bolt on your BB Buick!

I don't think it was there in 08, but it was in 09. Since then I've been taking a '73 Estate wagon with the turbo engine in it. Just ordered intercoolers for it today, hope to get a little more out of it!

Remind you ,this was done in 1995 and 1996. plus we didn't. have to worry about labor cost or going to get it, it was sent to my friends door step. We didn't have to have gas or shipping cost. Ya the dirty south has some good cars but nothing like that back then! By the way if the heads and cam were installed in a 535cid which it was met for( originally built by sonny leonard of sonny's racing engines) the 535 was in a 1988 camero that went 8.00 at full weight for NMCA. Them heads were not met to be on a 427 but on the hose she did her best for what we had. The 421 still ran at 9.30's for 11 yrs before we cracked a cylinder vertically,he resently just had another 509 casting 400 smallblock chevy togo as long as he can again. now how long has your dirty south ran without being toren apart. by the way the 427 short block still is running with a hyd. cam and stock intake and open chamber heads in a1965 chevy truck and that been 12 years now and still never rebuilt since the last time i have done it. I build my engines to last not be torn apart every year.

Very hard to read your posts...using a phone?

Please take the time to use punctuation and maybe space out your text.

I like to peruse this board for the great info.

It's hard to accept technical info when it looks like (because of the text) a couple of twenty-somethings are beating their chests.

Some folks just don't get it.

I didn't intend on slighting anyone's mechanical skills. Maybe someone should open a shop.

You know what, I beleive its time for me step back and let the ones that are doing the heads , do their.thing. Yes ,I am on a phone, so what! Who cares? Remember **** DOES HAPPEN . Certain people on here are pro's and the rest want to be! I'm no pro but I do know a thing or two and the Pro's know this. They know they can contact me by any means. Again I'm stepping back and waiting. for the heads to appear. and then I can say something if necessary but, I hardly doubt it. All I gotta say is, watch out buick community .

    Who "made" it?

Yes, that's what got the folks at Milan wondering! They'd seen the Offenhauser 2x4 a few times, but this new single plane intake from TA really made for good conversation.

For what it's worth, I use my phone daily in conducting business. In my line of work, problems with grammar and syntax, even problems with punctuation can mean certain doom. I have customers in Japan, Australia, Korea, UK. THEY expect decent input from us in the USA. Don't use your cell phone as an excuse for what you should have learned in high school. I'm so tired of making excuses for poor communication you can't imagine.
