Because cops haven't been murdered till now?

the only positive in this whole doing is that he killed himself. If he hadn't, the ensuing manhunt by 35,000 angry police officers' would have surely stirred the tensions between all police and the uptight portion of the public to the the boiling point

Did Obama pull the trigger? Maybe you have some inside info on how he influenced this dunce to pull the trigger on two people who had nothing to do with his "cause" beyond being crazy and wanting to kill some police. Otherwise, it's just a post about how you feel about the president of the US, and doesn't have a whole lot of value in this post.

This all started when that thug Brown robbed a store, tried to take the police officers gun from him while inside the car then charged at him and got shot. Within the first week of this incident Obama without knowing ANY facts sends three White house aids to Browns funeral and then welcomes Sharpton into the white house with open arms, goes on TV several times along with holder and others siding with the Thug and his family of thugs there was NO "hands up" like the thugs partner in crime said there was.

Same deal all over again with the "can't breath" bs, this guy had something like 30 priors, the store owners wanted him to stop hanging out in front of there business doors trying to sell smokes to there customers (harassing). He broke the law, he resisted and fought the cops but was in very poor health and he lost. Again if you "can't breath" you also "can't talk" he was talking all the way through his wrestling with the cops, we all saw the video right? Race baiters, and yes, Obama and Holder are very responsible here.

Thank you, thank you, thank you... None have no value of the topic, just an excuse for allot of negative finger pointing towards others. Doesn't matter where he from, who he is or what color he was, "what he did was totally wrong and by no way, the actions of anyone else but him"..

Most of the NYPD officers are blaming the Mayor for the shooting and are literally turning their backs on him in their presence. In other news, a Tarpon Springs,Fl. officer was gunned down at about 3 am this morning in the downtown and a suspect is in custody. RIP officers.

I live 1.5 miles from Ferguson where this latest crap has started. Been watching since it all started and its common knowlege that Obama had 4 of the top protesters as guests At the white house 1 week before the verdict and told them to carry on, gave them the green light. ...also the shooter. Was part of the black gorilla Gang out of baltimore..go figure..when will poeple stop making Excuses for this stuff

#Factcheck...President Obama invited the Ferguson Commission to the White House. The same commission that was formed by Gov. Jay Nixon of Missouri. The shooter of the cops, as stupid as he was, was not apart of that commission...

I cannot help but notice that President Obama was very quickly blamed for the current spate of killings involving law enforcement officers - or law enforcement officer wannabes. Yesterday's execution of two police officers in New York had absolutely nothing to do with the President - or any legislator. In fact, starting with the Trevon Martin killing in Sanford, Florida, none of these killings has involved politicians in any way. My own view is that the execution of these two officers, the Trevon Martin killing, and the chokehold takedown by police in New York were egregious and obvious homicides or uses of excessive force. The shooting in Fergueson and the shooting of the 12-year old waving a gun in Cleveland (the police had no way of knowing either the child's age or whether the gun was real or not) are open to diverse interpretations. The police have the obligation to use the minimum force that is sufficient to control the situation; the people are under the same obligation. Everyone needs to step back and take a deep breath.

Say what???????? Tip of the day, I don't care what color your skin is don't break the law and this won't happen. BUT If you do break the law and you get caught its best NOT to try and take the officer's gun, don't try and fight off the cops etc etc etc. This is a life style for these people and they have to be RESPONSIBLE for there own actions John. Lets start a new saying "MAN UP IF YOU GET BUSTED" Obama, Holder, Sharpton, Mayor De Blasio are smack dab in the middle of this mess and now they are trying to back peddle. There is NO excuse for breaking the law, Looting and burning business's and personal property, Killing innocent people etc etc. For the most part this is a life style issue for these people. And you watch, Eric holder will over turn the decisions that have been made.

    Politics? really?

First off, I started writing the post several hours ago, so if it appears after your latest post, don't get your panties in a bunch.. this is not an attack on any individuals opinion, rather just an expression of my opinion..

We could have this discussion, if you guys could keep the politics out of it.

As I see it, the Mayor of NYC, the President of the United States, and anyone else in politics has very little to do with this.

It seems to me that we can't have a conversation today, in which the speaker does not use something like this. to blame someone they don't like.

Politicians, by their nature, speak out of both sides of their mouths... and this is nothing new. It's what you do when you depend on someone to give you money and power, instead of relying on a work ethic to make a living.

Does anyone here really believe that if Pat Robertson were president, this wouldn't have happened?

Don't get me wrong, I completely believe that the moral decline of this country is being manifest in current events, but I also realize that Politics play only a small part in that decline.

In fact, I think that politics and politicians are a reflection of the problem, not a cause. There is an old saying:

" In a democracy, the people get the government they deserve"

So please, casting stones at that reflection is silly, and should be left to the jackals in the media who exist to promote ratings, and make money.

I believe that we Buick owners are a little smarter than that, although I understand getting swept up in the tide. Some of us get so caught up in whole "winning an argument" thing, that "we can't see the forest, for the trees"

    ********************

In my opinion, what your seeing here is the "cost" of free speech and expression in our society, when it is not balanced with good parenting, and individual responsibility.

This guy most likely has, like so many of his generation, been immersed from the cradle, in a atmosphere where it's acceptable to act out violently. Just look at his last Twitter post.. he got 576 Likes... after stating he was going to kill two cops.

Look at the popular culture today. Way back in the 80's we started glamorizing killing police. In the 90's and 00's it became acceptable to call females "Ho" and "Bitch".

At the same time, parenting went"out of style" or became too much of a bother in some cultures (that would be the affluent "me generation" suburbanites) and became non existent in most minority neighborhoods.

Sure, let the TV entertain the kids, so you don't have to do anything.. Don't worry where your 8 year old is at 10PM... Discipline a child?.. "Oh, we can't do that, it's child abuse to physically touch them"

    The result?

Individuals, of all races, who did not have a moral compass instilled in them by their parents, get possession of a firearm, and start killing people.. or knocking their girlfriend out in an elevator, or shooting her (or him for that matter).

Before you get your Al Sharpton Soap box out and decry this post as racist, you need to understand that color has very little to do with what I am saying.

The shooters and thugs are all colors, all races.

As are the worthless, self centered, idiot parents who sprout these thugs.

In fact, the only thing being black has to do with it, is that most of the "entertainers" who promote this lifestyle, and the "activists" who
seek to enrich them selves by exploiting the results, are black.

That's a reality we have to deal with, like it or not.

    So what?

It certainly does not mean that being Black, or Asian, or Hispanic means that your automatically going to be a thug.

The problem is, a disproportional number of Minority Parents are not there for their kids. And oh... surprise, surprise, these are the children that grow up to either perform and promote that trash, or be the offenders.

This is an individual problem... has nothing to do with what race you were born into, and you need to get your blinders off if you think that.

It means simply this.. if your in that racial group, you need to work harder to overcome this. Be a good example of parenting and personal responsibility.

DO NOT cop out, and say that your "Held down by the system". I heard a promo for the local news station is morning.. they were going to have on a famous football player, who went on to be a laywer, a judge, and then to sit on the Supreme Court of MN, as as associate Justice.

He's a black guy from Ohio, name Alan Page.

    ________

I laugh at the protestors..they could not be any more clueless.

They should be protesting within their own communities, for improved resources for parents, to stay together and raise their kids. Now as much as I am a "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" guy, I realize that some folks simply can't do that, but we need to work within communities to help them put a good family unit together.

Or at least make Economics not the reason they can't. Or won't.

Because if you want to change the society, change the people in it.

And Parents are the biggest part of that, assisted by Educators and the rest of us. They teach values, respect for authority, and for other people.

So if your a young parent reading this.. regardless of race or circumstances, realize that you are the key. Falling back on the excuses is a cop out.

There is no excuse.. You had the kids, it's your responsibility to raise them to not only be happy and healthy, but also to not be a danger to those around them. To be responsible, polite, and think about someone other than themselves all the time. Most of that teaching is done by example.

So I just shake my head at the people, many of them white by the way, who are protesting the cops for doing their job.

And shake my head at the Politicians promoting this band of of the clueless. I understand why they do it (look up the word "pandering" if you don't), but they are far from the reason, or the problem. If you don't like President Obama, that's fine, I don't' care for his politics, but I do realize that this problem started when he was in diapers.

This is the result of a society that does not instill in it's young people, the simple ethic of right and wrong, and the idea that you are responsible for your actions.

I consider that the greatest "sin" if you will.

And that sin knows no color, no race and no political affiliation.

    JW

This happened here in York , PA . on 12/29/12 . 3 white officers shot a white shoplifting suspect armed with a butter knife and a pair of scissors in front of K Mart at least 20 times . On 4/16/ 13 the white District Attorney determined it was a justified shooting , 12/18/14 a white attorney files a $8 million lawsuit in federal court . The irony in this is scary , the video link is disturbing , I felt it to be worth sharing in this thread .And we haven't had riots yet ..... AGAIN THE VIDEO IS DISTURBING !
I posted this not to be political , but to show white folks get into these living horror stories too . I can't think any police officer ever gets any pleasure from a shooting . Its a shame that the race issue seems more important that the fact that peoples lives are being devastated so often .
