I was kinda curious as to how many people on the board are from Texas. Those that are from Texas how many belong to The BPG and how many plan to be members of the BPG. Just curious as to how the numbers for the Lone star state stack up. Pipe in if your from TEXAS!.

I work in san antonio and live in seguin. I love to go see other Buicks if it is not too great a distance. I have a pretty good size shop with parking for at least 20-30 cars, so if Seguin would be convenient, we could discuss that option for a get together. I also have lots of room for bar-b-que pits and lounge chairs, too.

Thanks randy, That may be an option since you have the facilities to host a group there. Since your in seguin how far is the track from your place. I know you know where the track is:Brow:

i'm here...Patton Did someone mention bbq and Seguin in the same sentence?....this is starting to sound pretty good. Phil was bragging the other day about how he had this great rib/briscuit recipe.

I from DFW area. Does anyone know if the LSPBC is planning a shoot out in San Antonio again this year? Would be a perfect time.

The track is about 10 mi. from my house out on ih10 about 5 mi. west of Seguin. It is talked about like it is in San Antonio, but it really is just outside of Seguin. I drive by it every day to and from work. They are doing a large expansion of the bleachers and parking area. I'm guessing something big is coming in the near future. (Maybe they heard there might be a "buick" get together and they want to be prepared).:Brow: For those of you that have not been there before, it is a pretty nice facility and nearly new, so the track is still nice and flat. They have local racing there every Wed., Fri. and Sat. I met some of the guys from the Dallas chapter of the gs club last year when they had their event there.

I was there back in November when they were doing 1/8 mile..they were handing out a flyer for a massive event coming up in early spring...IHRA event or something like that...ProMods, Funnies etc....looks like a pretty good event. The stands (and I think they are adding more parking/pits are being expanded for this event I believe.

Randy, I have a friend in San Antonio that races a Red 70 Olds W-30 at RCR...he keeps mentioning a nice 70 GS..is that you?
    Thnx, Patton

That idea sounds pretty good Randy, I think some good BBQ and a little racing down in sequin would be just the ticket. Let's hear what everyone else thinks about this idea, as far as the drive etc. I know it wouldn't be bad at all for me. I'd like to see Randy's cars anyway :Brow: .

I'm in Fort Worth. It's neat to be about the only guy around with old Buicks. The Chevy Ford and Mopar guys don't know what hit them. I'm up for good BBQ anytime, if the Stage is fueled up.
