1968 Open grille ( similar to 70) Argent dash (not just boring black) Wood steering wheel Tri Shield round marker lens 1969 Hood trunk key lock Overall '68 has more interesting/desirable features. But I like Both. Have several boring '70 so have to vote them too . But the best BUILT GS ever was the original '65 GS. Fully boxed frame ( coupes & convertibles) Steel grille not plastic steel dash not plastic tail lights in body, not bumper Chrome header panel ( not cheap strip of vinyl!) It's to bad the cars got more discontented ( cheaper built). Well, I won't knock a 70 but I'm glad to see my 67 in second. Just too many 70s around for us 67 guys to have a chance. JIm N.
69! then 71's exterior is a good runner up. However, the deluxe 72 interior, loaded and equipped with the full length functioning console and that woodgrain door panel treatment, is by far the best looking interior.
I'm in the same boat as Al (Idoxlr8) It has always been a problem for me in changing off my cars because another model year comes along and I gotta have it. They are all my favourite based on each of their own yearly styling merrits:grin:

69 GS400 is my all time favorite. Dad lost a 67 and I picked up a 68 this summer. Plan to install a 69 grill, surround,& GS hood.
I like them all but I'd have to stick with the 65 and the 70 if I could only pick 2. The 70 grill looks the cleanest to me. Not a big fan of the bumpers on 72's and up. Still all nice looking cars non the less.
Hi Chris Your 70 is looking awesome. See that car every day. My brother Bob is working on your interior. That little old 60 Corvette next to it should be gone any day now. Another completed project. Bring on another Buick!! Leo
Leo, The car is coming along quite nicely. Just got back from the shop, the guy's were getting ready to install the vinyl top. I couldn't be happier with the job the guys at JH Restorations have done. This car was a complete rust bucket when we started back in 04. When it's finally finished it will be one of the nicest Buicks in the area. Chris
