Mickey Thompson Super Scavenger headers for the 400-430-455 Buick engines. The headers feature a big box like collector with equal length primary tubes that end at different points in that collector. They make a very unique sound unlike any headers out there.
Before this thread, I too, didn't know about them. Reading this thread prompted me to look them up on YouTube. They have a great sound.

we had them on the wagon when we got it from Kurt, very distinctive... "ting ..ting..ting.. ting" note to them, true nothing sounds quite like them. Very happy with the TA coated set we have now, but we did like that unique sound. D & B
Some people will say and do anything just to fit in....can someone explain to me this ting ting sound or even better the ten can sound they say comes from there M/T SS Headers?????? I have them on a couple ofy stock Buick no ting ting or ten can sound I know of 20 plus other stock Buicks with M/T SS Headers no ting ting or ten can sound... just maybe you guys need to replace your M/T Headers

Why is Buick History pointless....all this negative talk is why GM is reproducesing the Buick Regal and calling it the Buick Regal GS...so let take all the Negative talk and focus it on GM and that BS . I was always wondering why they don't use a nice, thick flange on these headers. I had a couple pairs of them several years back and showed them to a local engine builder, and he thought they were pretty thin. I'd be up for a set if they would improve the quality.
Over 2700 views and only 8 votes. It's not looking good here, but I do wish you luck. We got tons more interest in having 68 GS grills reproduced, but still it isn't happening.
