    BF2KNIGHT Buickless for now

WOW...this thread is interesting. Let me share my story with you, I'll try to make it short..

I'm 42 and just celebrated my 14 wedding anniversary and really couldn't be happier (unless you count being independantly wealth counts  ). However, before I met my wife, I was "bouncing" around dating. In my early 20's I thought that I'd never find Ms. Right. Started dating someone who was interested in me so I thought I'd make a go at it. Ended up sharing an apartment together. Came home from work one afternoon and the place was cleaned out...everything including my cat !! :eek2: She disappeared without a trace. Needless to say, that was quite a burn. Decided right then and there I would NEVER get involved again. Fast forward 3 years.

Was working at a Retail establishment, definately wasn't interested in dating, saw a co-worker that intested me...asked her out. I've never been more comfortable with anyone in my life. We dated for 18 months, lived together for 18 months, been married 14 years and we have 3 beautiful daughters (ages 7 and 4 (x2)). [and an old Buick]

Moral of the story....your life partner is there somewhere, where you least expect it. Last thing in the world that I ever expected was to be married and a dad, and I love both. :beer

Off subject : I'd be willing to be in the calendar if you are interested, oh and my convertible too ... :pp

Greg Schmelzer What are you looking at?!

    My .02

I'm 38 here and single. Loving it? Who knows? I was married once when I was 20. She was 18. Both way too young and immature. Divorced and single dad when I was 21. Been single ever since with the exception of about 7 months in 95 when I had a steady. Supposed to get married, but she was too young. Went a little older that time, she was 19, I was 29. She needed to grow up a little more and we broke up. No biggie.

One thing I have noticed is that a lot of women I know that have kids complain that men run away when they find out that they have kids. Well, I am here to tell you that it goes the other way, too. Most of the women I have met since my divorce have left vapor trails as soon as I told them that I had a daughter already. :Do No: The way I see it, is that they are missing out on a great kid. I am a package deal and if they can't handle it, too bad. Time to move on.

Incidentally, I am not really in the market for a relationship, but I never have been when they happened either. So who knows, maybe tomorrow night I might meet someone that doesn't wear track shoes!!

Here is a pic of Kerstin. 17 years old and a real handful!! She is, incidentally, going to help Eric and I with a brake job on the Cherokee tomorrow!! She loves it. She has been helping with stripping the Wildcat when we get a chance to work on it.

She is gonna be a real catch for someone someday. Told her college first!! She wants to be a lawyer and help kids that have drug dependancy problems.

Looks like a Mastiff(sp) They are big, but the nicest dogs, temperment wise. Tufbuick's Son-in-law Steven has a Mastiff. Her name is Shelly. She's great with kids, haven't seen her snap at one of them yet  Ron took this shot of me and Shelly last year.

She can really be a goof, too. she loves to make people laugh. She was tapping on the living room picture window one evening. When we opened the curtains, we were treated to this...

The calender sounds like a great idea ! Niice picture Brett .. Keep 'em coming folks . Let's see if a V8 connection will happen . You could always get married under the " double oak tree " at the park behind our property as many a couple have driven very far to do !
