The private western central bank is failing, the federal reserve is collapsing under the weight of its own fraud. Soon commoners will see that the whole economic system has been a racket.

Back on the subject of fuel cost... I just put some fuel in my Suburban today (some.... ain't no way I'm filling that thing up until May). At the Wawa near me it was 3.99/gal. Encouraging, since it was 4.39/gal last week.

    I remember back in
Reminds me of when I was a kid during the gas shortage of 1975?? when you could only get 5 gallons of it and the price hit more than a $1.
There was a Sunoco station in the Government Station area in MA that was charging $5 to $6 a gallon with no limit. This station was the only one within a good distance and it stuck out like a sore thumb as it was surrounded by government related buildings:eek:.
People panicked about possibly having no gas and the jerk made good money.. It took a good 6 months or more for the authority's fine him and made him change the prices.
There we pictures of his station and prices in the Boston Globe and other local papers every other day and still it took a while to stop him.

4.09 seems to be the popular price around here

yeah well now are you all going to put premium in at 4.65 which is what it should have or are you all going to put in regular at 4.06? If you have slightly more compression you will need some of that race gas that was 8$ a gallon last year.
5 gal of that lets say 40-60 bucks then add that 15 gal of regular or premium could be 60-75$ so to fill up for hot rodding with your 10.5- 11.5 comp engine you will spend anywhere from 100- 135$ or so just to fill the car up.

Drive to the track and use up a 1/2 tank of gas during the trip and making 6-10 runs and go home, now you have 1/2 tank left to cruise around for the next day. That will take you down to 1/4 of a tank now and the weekend is now over.
Can we do this every weekend now, used to be able to in 1994 when I built this 350 since I did do this a lot back then with 1.09$ regular-1.30$ for premium gas as stated in lasts posts.

Filled the work van Monday for 5.47. Pump shut off at 100$ and the tank was not full. Filled up again on thrursday morning 4.97 and it clicked off at 87$. I had over a 1/4 tank before I hit the station.

Political humor? That's an oxymoron, no such thing.:) Politics, it's used to alienate and divide us from one another, by those in power. You are being gaslighted, and used whether you realize it or not. Threads like this always go the same way, eventually. As soon as I saw the title of this one, I shook my head and thought, here we go again.

I Agree 100% Larry, I thought the exact same thing when I seen this thread. This thread might as well have been closed at post #1, after all memes are not welcome here anymore:rolleyes: and everything goes political these days.
