Gas prices are at all time high

Fox’s Den… you are so correct! When I was in high school, mid 70s, all the climatologists were screaming that we were going into another Ice Age. Where is it?
I taught science for 35 years. Earth goes through cycles. It has since the beginning of time. Cold cycles and warm cycles. The sun also goes through cycles, heating up and cooling down. The earth sometimes revolves closer to the sun, and sometimes further away from the sun. It’s all cycles. Seems to me, if there really is a thing called global warming that is happening, or going to happen, we should be preparing for it, not ruining our economy and changing our lives. We should be building sea walls , not electric cars.
India and China… Why should we ruin our economy and totally change our way of life when they are doing nothing about global warming. They are the biggest polluters of carbon dioxide and no matter what we do it will not make a difference when they keep doing what they are doing.
Carbon dioxide… this weekend I happen to be watching a scientific documentary on the amount of carbon dioxide in earths atmosphere over the last million years. In case anyone reading this doesn’t know how they do that, they drill into the ice at the north or south poles and can extract the amount of carbon that was in the atmosphere. Thousands of years ago, and millions of years ago, the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere was way higher than it is now. There were no humans contributing to this. Somehow earth made it through that time.
Just a short time ago, in earth history, 100,000 years ago, the oceans were much higher. The barrier reef, Palm Beach, was underwater. I live 5 miles from the beach. The old sand dune from 100,000 years ago is 3 miles to my east. There may have been some crazy caveman looking people inhabiting earth then, but I’m pretty sure they were not contributing to global warming. It happens in cycles.
I am hundred percent sure there is nothing we can do that will really change things. What’s going to happen is going to happen and humans cannot change that.
Whoa! Way too serious for me. Back to growing asparagus.

 

Hey John,....you only "follow the science " when it fits your narrative,....don't be using science to back up facts now

 

Ya John, but that is common sense, and how is anyone going to gain control over your lifestyle and your money by using that?

Let's move on guys. Again, your not going to change anyone's mind here, one way or the other..
