    Actually in '87 there were I think 16 in the show.
    The next year there were over 200!

    This would be 1989. That's me and Terry Bunton standing next to his Stratomist Blue '72 GS. He towed that U-Haul trailer all the way from Dallas with his race tires, tools, and for sale parts. I would end up buying the GS from him in '95. The GNX on the other side of the trailer belonged to Pat Neil aka ik167 on the board. My '70 GSX is somewhere down the aisle backed up against the hotel with the other X's.

    Yours truly at the Holidome parking lot in 1991 posing next to my black 71 that I had just finished. I was 24. God, look at that hair! I look like a friggin Q-tip! :laugh: Luckily, the car still looks the same. :pp

    When was the car show in the infield of the circle track? That was my very first GS Nats. I brought my green Riv that year. Im gonna say 89?

    I think it was 89 or 90. My photo albums are in Alabama and I'm in SC at the moment. I haven't got all my pictures scanned yet. But I do remember pictures of a green Riv at the circle track car show. I'll check this weekend. And scan some more pictures.

    It must have been 1990. I found my photo album from 1989 and the show was still on the grass. Now I need to get busy scanning...

    IN the second photo,you can see our yellow 70 GSX and our 68 sportwagon next to it . The wagon was our towcar back then, but now it the "sportwagon from HELL " with a best time of 9.95 @ 135+
