Re: my name Hi Alex. I wanted to let you know that we try and always post our name with our questions or comments to help keep everything on a personal basis. What you could always do is put your name in the signature section so it is always on your posts. But welcome and I look forward to meeting you and all the other great people as possible soon. Mike
They can't even forcast the next day:blast: I'm hoping for good weather, but unless our luck changes.........o No:
I don't even give them credit for the SAME day. Never even called for rain the entire day yesterday and we got rained on at least 5 times, 2 of them were moderately heavy. Then they changed the forecast after the rains for PM showers after 9PM and we never got another drop. What does it take to become a Meteorologist? A winning box of Captain Crunch?
too bad it looks like the rain spoiled this one, but I am opened to ideas and if you guys would like to re-eschedule I would be more that willing to participate.
Count in one 72 GS drop top Well looks like my buddy will getting his 72 GS 350 drop top out of moth balls for the picnic. IDOXLR8
Is there a back-up-plan in case we're rained out? I know if there is any chance of rain I won't be attending.o No:
I drive my car rain or shine, cars are built to be driven in any weather, right? I don't blame those that have decent paint jobs, its just my opinion... even WITH a leaky windshield. I'm up for it now, reschedualing it might be iffy for my ability to go as my job will limit me to when I can attend (its a pool store, as soon as it gets semi-nice up here then we will be slammed).
just curious if anyone is caravaning down from up this way? let me know i'd rather cruise down with a group of buick people
Looking at the current weather reports - Accuweather.com - Mostly cloudy; a few showers High 71 F / Low 61 F Weather.com - Scattered T-Storms 73/59 30 % rain. There is no back-up plan at this moment. Anyone have any suggestions? I'd hate to take my daily driver Camry to a Buick event :ball:
Lets make it Rain or Shine ?? Scattered tT-storms or chance of rain is as good as it gets in my book unless you see a HUGE "H" cloudless high pressure area over the entire region Weathermans' catchall phrase - Partly cloudy with a chance of rain If ist sunny they're right.....if its cloudy they're right, if it doesn't rain they're right......and if it downpours ?? We told you here first This past sat I was to compete in a model airplane fly-in - every forecast called for the weather to hold from dawn until 10a when it was to degrade rapidy. I got there extra early (6:30a) got my flights in and ended up staying at the flying field until 2p because it was such a nice day - didn't rain until after 4p I May go out Fri night to my in-laws....or leave Sat. early. Either way If its raining then and forecasted to continue, Im bringing the Skylark. If its nice I'll be the guy with the Top Down and Shades on......Goin' Fast with Crass...errr....I Mean Class
Hi Lynn and Paul - (Weather permitting, of course), I'd get on the Garden State Parkway north bound, to exit 114. It will be quicker. Make a left at the first light (Holmdel/Middletown road). You will go over the GSP at this point and go through the first light. The 2nd light is Crawford's Corner-Everette Rd. Make a right and follow the directions from This V8Buick post. The hotel should definitely be able to get you on the GSP northbound. Here are directions from Yahoo, mapping to 12 Linden CT. Seems like mapping to 2 Linden Ct gives an entirely different set of directions o No:
Picnic Thanks Marco, Hopefully the weather is good. Lynn and I will be there. Plan on bringing our 70 gs See you Saturday Paul and Lynn
