With all the rain and cold weather this spring, the weather has to be in our favor....we need a good weekend, been so long. See you there like Alan says rain or shine unless its downpouring Rick
The forecast is looking pretty good:TU: I'll just bring a towel or two in case the rains hit cause the old girl tends to leak when it rains. I think we're going to need these:bglasses: more! I'm looking to leave the Trenton area going out I-195 around noon o No: if anyone wants to hookup for the ride out.
Rules, Rules, Rules... Some rules for the park, now that i finally read the documentation - Park reservation is 'Holmdel Park//Res.Tent Area', from 9am until dusk. The permit # is 47674 (I'll bring the original paperwork). Reservation is under the name Mike Mantella from Marlboro, reserved for the Buick Performance Group. The first person who gets to the tent area on Saturday may need to know this information. Also, the first person should look at the area and see if it's clean enough. If not, we tell the park rangers on site and they will take care of it. Prohibited in the park - alcohol, public address systems or loud music, banners or signs, sales of merchandise and raffles. We cannot 'rope-off' a designated parking area as it is public domain. First come, first serve so we would need to 'eventually' claim a parking area for our Buicks. Any questions?
Sounds good to me Marco....also...I'm looking for the chrome nose trim for a 1970 GS hood....if anybody has one please bring to the picnic and I will gladly purchace on the spot....just let me know what the price is in advance.
While I am thinking about it... If anyone going to Holmdel needs a straight front 1972 bumper, let me know. I had it on my driver up until I put my new bumper on. No dent/bends. Yours for the asking!
looks like I'm gonna be missing this one...:ball: Most of the motor of the buick is at the machine shop and there is a big hole in the roof (putting in a power sunroof :Brow: )... I'd take the opel, but I don't think I have the time this week to pick up new tires, and I'm not too sure if I'd trust the rest of the car for a 2 hr drive either.... lol... and I don't trust my daily driver truck as far as I can throw it... Even if I could get down there, I've got so much other stuff to do this weekend.... Always next year :beer
I hope people are responding to the poll above. Someone is looking for a headcount to get T-Shirts made up for the first xx number of guests :TU: Very cool :bglasses:
