    :eek2: 10 cases of soda :eek2:

Thanks Al! That should be plenty. I'm not a soda drinker (if it's got bubbles, it better have alcohol).

Does Coca-Cola make anything non-carbonated (like lemonade/iced tea) or any 'fruit drinks/?

PS - I updated your location in the first post! :TU:

    Just so everyone knows -

There is a supermarket (Stop-N-Shop) a couple miles away. We could always get additional ice there.

    We do need coolers, however.

Does anyone want to bring any fruits?

I have a huge cooler I will bring with me. It is probably 4' x 2' or so.

Can't wait! Sounds like we got a real party going on here....

I work in Holmdel and unless they sell the place and I'm laid off, I'll be 1 mile from the park on Friday June 6th.

PM me for details. Thanks Al!

    I'm in

Just wanted to let you know that I'm planning on attending the picnic with or without my car (hopefully with). I may be bringing my two children depending on my wife's schedule.

Please let me know if I can bring anything!

    Thanks...

Marco - My inlaws are only a few miles away......I'm sure i can borrow a few garbage cans for make-shift coolers. We're planning to stay the weekend out there so my wife is driving either her car or my RoadMonster.

If you want.....we can stage there.....i.e. If you want to drop anything off the week before and then my wife can bring it in a "normal" car (her Subaru or the RoadMonster Wagon).

    Just throwing out Ideas.....

    Re: ????

    Hey Rick -

Are you coming? Have you talked with John Csordas and Carl Rychlik about coming?

I don't want to run short on the picnic tables, nor do I want the tent area to be overcrowded with unused tables. Given the stuff everyone's bringing, maybe more tables are better.

If the weather cooperates with us, don't forget the sunscreen

    Alan -
GREAT idea. Al (IDOXLR8) gave me his phone #. Maybe a couple days prior we can work something out to get the soda to your in-laws :TU:

I just had another idea to "Pump Up the Volume"

I post on the TurboRegal board......I'll make mention of the picnic there !!

I Also post on the B-Body board (ImpalaSS's and RoadMaster Wagons).......should I post it there as well ??? The B-Body group are pretty cool even if they are chevvy's

I think it would be cool......some modded out wagons to round out the event

What do you guys think ??

This picnic is open for all Buick enthusiasts.

I posted a link on the BPG and GSCA websites to this thread.

A link on the turbo board is fine, as long as the people reply here so we have an accurate head count and an adequate amount of food (and a variety). We don't want everyone bringing the same things.

I'm not sure about an 'open invitation' to the chevy crowd. I would vote no. If someone has a buddy who has a Chevy (or other make) and wants to come, that's fine, but not an open invite.

    Am I wrong?

    Buick only show

I don't have a problem with a different breeds coming by like a 442 or a GTO or a SS Just no Mustangs , PT Cruisers or rice burners . But I do agree we should keep it Buick only . IDOXLR8

    Hey thats Great !!!

I'd say bring as much as you can......there's gonna be alot of people there.....over quite a few hours on a June day.

If its like it was at Duane's bash I think everyone there prolly consumed at Least 4 or 5 or more beverages

We'll pick up the slack......whatever you can do is much appreciated
