LOL...walked the route this morning to make sure he could get that transporter through. He called and said more like 9-9:30 so pics will be slightly delayed...but worth the wait...I promise.:TU:

The former owner just called me because he hadn't heard back from me...was getting curious.

    John,
We are all waiting for this! I'm excited for you and your Dad!!
Now I'm going back out to the garage to finish tearing the front suspension off the 73 Electra (Giagantor) so I can replace the bushings

That is such a cool piece of history :TU: Just look at the "roll cage" in that thing  Those guys had a set to drive those cars at speed back then!

Looks like you found a driver:TU: Very cool. When that thing was on ebay, I told my wife I would give my left you know what to have that car.

Heading out of town so I really can't study this car but I will say this, seller confirmed it as well...the tires at least the fronts...are original to the car from 1967...I kid you not.

Talk to you all soon and thanks for all the kind words and comments,I'll keep you guys posted...don't worry about that.:TU:

when you get back into town, pm me. I have a little info on the car and some owners/caretakers from the 90s.
Isn't that about the heaviest body you ever lifted? Almost as heavy as a steel one!

WOW! That interior looks like the inside of a studio apartment compared to the inside of a funny car today! Gotta love the simplicity and pure function of the interior layout. I see lots of cash being spent to bring the car back to the shape it was in back in the late 60's, but what a worthy cause.
The pictures are great, KEEP THEM COMING!!!!! Later, Randy
