    Speedy recovery from Mass

I don't know Bobb personally but after reading all the posts here it's obvious where the "class" came from in "Going fast with Class".

I wish you and your family well during your recovery.

    "and this too shall pass".

    I'm Here

Well I made it home it's late Im tired so I plan on keeping this short. Ill try to do more tomorrow. I would like to thank you all for your well wishes and prayers. It looks as if I need to have my arm operated on Thursday. That should do me until its time to do my face. That will be the bad one I think.
Most likely will be off work for at least three months the way they talk. Just want to thank all of you from the deepest deeps of my heart.

    Hey, Bobb!

Bobb, glad you had a chance to post, and we all are still praying and rooting for your swift recovery! As has already been said, don't be shy to ask for help with anything you all need, Amy and Anthony and Geof, already know that all your friends are ready, willing and able to do anything you need, and also your friends from NSCA, as I got a message from Keith with the '74 Chevelle at work about your ordeal. I've known Keith for probably 20 yrs, and he and I have talked about you and the Jeff Hart racing team at the NSCA race at Milan, an he can't say enough about how cool you all are, etc. and offered help from the NSCA too, including cutting the grass, which may or not be necessary, but it is great that they have offered to help too.
I just want to say, that the Buick folks are a bunch of great folks, that have been there for Bobb and his family, and that I think as unfortunate as this deal has been, for Bobb, Amy, Anthony, Geof, Cindy, and rest of the Makley family, that you all have been the best friends in the world! And the best things that have come of this is that we have become better friends, more than anything we have is friends, cars, stuff, junk, etc, FRIENDS, mean more than all of that! and that we have the option to be Friends, and support friends, and continue to be friends, through thick and thin! You all ROCK! and just me speaking here, If I didn't know you, I wouldn't be me! Cause you make things right in the world, and I can't be any different, cause you are who you are, and I can't imagine the Buick World without you!
That's way to mushy, but true! Rock on! Buicks rule, I'm racing, so are you next year at Buick RaceDay 2005 at Norwalk Raceway Park! :spank: :3gears: :beer :beer :beer :beer :bglasses: :bglasses:

Thanks to everyone for your prayers and support, you have no idea how much this means to us. I don't recall who said it but yes the Buick community is like an extension of family. We have made several very good friends over the years and we are very thankful for what everyone has done for us.

Update on Bobb, he had his arm operated on yesterday. Apparently the bone needed to be screwed into place because it was moving and there was concern that this would heal improperly causing him limited wrist mobility if not fixed.

We will be meeting the oral surgeon today and see what he has to say about the jaw and teeth. Hopefully there are no more surprise surgeries in the near future.

I am sure that within the next couple of days he will be back on the computer checking his messages again and of course I am sure he will be sending replies.

    Thanks again for everything.

    Amy Makley
