If your worried about the car being finished just bring it here I will finish it for you. Its better than what will be in the near future for your car........
Easy boys.. If he wants to use $100 bills to light the fireplace, then that's his business.. You all have made your point, ease up on him.. But yes, 4 years to do anything is nuts.. but there are many cases where it has gone 2, maybe three times this long, by some well know restorers that if I spit the name out you would instantly recognize.. And those cars have been show winners. My biggest worry here is that, as some have stated, there is not enough $$$ being spent here to build a really super car.. My advice Bruce is to keep in contact with the guy, and do some regular visits, by you, or a friend.. you will know if it is going to get done on time, within a month or so here, and how it is being done. You talked to him, looked him in the eye, and even after all this, you must have seen something to make you believe he will do the job for you. I trust that you are a reasonable adult, who can make his own decisions on how to spend your money, so I won't lecture you as to your decision. Even if I agree with the pack here.. Let's move on guys. JW
Body Shop Problems I for one will not let this rest, I will be to that body shop this week and at the machine shop when the engine is out. The owner knows me and knows about me very well and knows I'm very concerned about this transaction. Bruce is not going into the last part of this body shop problem blindly. I will make evey effort on my end to make sure this negitive goes to a positive. Don't get me wrong, if the body shop even sneezes I will be there to wipe his nose. AL.

With AL on the case I feel better leaving it there....... for right now. But.....he doesn't get one penny until this car is completed to our satisfaction. Other "friends" of mine have attempted to put the blame on me for what has transpired. I certainly accept some for letting it get to this point, however I am going to try this last time to get blood out of this turnip. :rant: Bruce
Body Shop Problems As I posted before I will make it real clear to Jeff I'm not letting this go, and nothing against Bruce (lives far from the shop, Lots more patients then me, lots of other projects, kids, ect) but I will make my interest in this real clear to Jeff when I show up a couple times a week :beer AL.
