    truth.

What is the name and location of this body shop?
I am referring to the body shop that stores primed cars in the weather, blasts the sheet body with rocks and pebbles, takes 4 1/2 years to do about 2-4 days of work, because of the shops negligence has caused damage to a rare, classic car motor.
Please do not tell me that this is private or too negative.
This is reality and we should all know who is who and what is what.
I wish people some Buick people were more honest and forthright with me before I took my car to the Diabos in Canada.
It would have saved me and other disgruntled Diabo customers a lot of wasted time and money. Now all I have is a very expensive and in many ways poorly done, unfinished car and Keith and Duane Diabo are facing a very expensive legal battle and other U.S. legal issues when they cross the boarder.

    I understand Larry but.....
You can PM me for it. I just don't think it should be public at this time since I am giving him one last chance. If things don't work out in the end it will be public.
I still have to deal with him and these boards are public.

I would hope that you would respect our wishes at this time.

    Body Shop Problems

Bruce, there are a lot of ways of looking this. As far as the weather go the damage that went on for years and one day won't make much difference after all the engine needs a complete once over. I will be out there Friday to continue up dates on progress and make a presents in my interest in the progress known!!! AL :beer

God, there are SO many mistakes a schibby guy can, and will, make when building a Buick motor. I sure hope the shop he chooses to build it has a clue.

We'll all say a prayer for you.

    Body Shop Problems

The engine shop that it will be going to does good work and did my 327 in my Corvette. He also did my 455 with only one problem, that was set it up a little loose. I'm going to try to have the body shop use some one else for as we all know a 455 has many issues and should only go to a "Buick Wise" Engine builder. AL.

    Loose?????WOW

If you guy's are church going men, I would have started praying along time ago. I understood, turn the other cheek from the bible, but heard nothing of bend over and grab your ankles.

I read the whole thing start to finish, and can see that your a good man who trys to see the best in people, which I admire, but that has probably got the best of you this time. In the end I can't see how you are going to be happy with the final out come. Sqeezing blood from a turnip was not your initial goal i bet when this project started, but now that's what your willing to accept to make you happy :Do No: Maybe your right and this guy will make good, at this point any thing less would be tragic :( :(

I have been holding my tongue up till now but i cant wait any longer, dude go get your car this guy that runs this shop is a jagoff he doesnt give a rats a$$ about your car or you,i'll give you a scenario he finish's your car everythings fine until the paint starts to flake or it rust from the inside out because he didnt do the job correctly or he does your motor finish's the car then the motor blows a week later, then the paint flakes off then it rust's into the ground. to make a long story short get your friggin car if you dont somebody should because by the time you get it back it's not gonna be worth a damn thing. Being in the body shop business it kills me to hear stories like this and it makes me happy i'm able to do this kind of work myself GET YOUR CAR NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Maybe I'm into pain. :Brow:

No, THIS IS THE LAST CHANCE he has. I'm not bending over anymore for him..... :spank: Gotta remember that this was never intended to be a show job....a driver and a racer.

AL said he's going down there today and checking to see if it has at least migrated into the actual shop interior.
