I can't help but wonder how many of the guys on the list are still alive and/or are even interested anymore. I'm 64 and I have given up on ever building a Buick 350 in my lifetime.

You don't have to build one. Maybe just put together a nicely painted up 350 carcass, on a stand looking cool as garage ART!:D:D
    No tolerances required!

Mart we already have one of those, stop looking at it. lol.
62,64, 66 it won't matter I will still run this car and keep working on it. This may just take longer and probably will not have enough money to make it happen the way I want it to since I really have to make a IRA run to retirement.

I would like to know how many on that original list are still in this or gave it up. 15 years is 15 years no matter how you cut the pie that is a long time from thought to actual product and we tare still waiting. oh well we are just the forgotten ones.

Going to have to build a 350 aluminum block now are there really any 350's in the junkyards?

If you can do it at 82 you can do it at 62.

I'll never build a 350 but at 65 I'm still hoping to complete the stroker 300 with a set of TA Rover heads and the blower. Got most of the parts now except the heads, pistons and a few odd bits. At least those heads are available. And how odd is that?

i'm 60 something and being a former old world r&d/experimental machinist still think of ways to make the dragster go faster with home made parts/modifications. i get bored real quick and need to do things. when i finally stop is probably when i'm dead. anyways, beating the youngsters is all ways fun.
