Been working on the car off and on the last few months. After battling with a local paint supplier for a little while on paint for the dash i said F*** it and went with SEM hot rod black for the dash, i have to say i think it came out fairly decent. Sprayed the last few pieces on the steering column so i can finish that all up and install in the car PERMANENTLY. Installed the battery box and working on mounting the battery shut off in the trunk as well. Now we can work on mounting vintage air heater/ defroster, routing all EFI wiring, and routing all of the normal wiring as well.

I feel like a kid on christmas... About a year ago i gave a buddy of mine, who runs a fab shop, my intake for the 482cui thats going in this car. This way he could drill the bosses for multi-port fuel injection. Yesterday i got the call that my intake was all done!!!:):)

Now its time to finish a motor:cool::cool:

If it runs as good as it looks, you're all set.

This car should look and run really really good, thats part of the goal. Ultimately the goal is run GSR at the nationals, run high 10s low 11s, and drive this car anywhere. If i can make all of that happen, i would be ecstatic.

You are doing a phenomenal job on the car looks really good. Wiring sucks though doesn’t it? That’s one of the biggest reasons why I hate Efi so much. Trying to hide everything and make it look good. Make sure you post pictures.

Thanks buddy, i appreciate that. Routing all of these wires is definitely going to be tricky, especially to try and hide everything. My plan is to hide coil packs and ecu under the dash, dont know exactly how im going to accomplish this. Still going to give it a shot

Today was a major milestone on this project. The 482 BBB build me and Gary Paine started 2+ years ago wrapped up today and im excited/ proud to say the motor is back home. The motor is not running on the EFI yet, that will happen after it gets dropped in the car. Motor sounds healthy and ran good during break in

Little update... Been a little slow moving bc of school and work as of late. I am, however, getting some things done one thing at a time. 4L80e Transmission is up at the transmission shop getting the once over, so i should have that back in the next few weeks. Going to call a guy in ohio about a converter next week. In the mean time i can go through and start routing wires through the dash, as well as mounting the ecu and coil packs for EFI under the dash. Will post some pictures in the next day or two

Set the motor in the car today to see where the Holley EFI harness needs to be routed etc. Also to see if i needed to massage the headers before i sent them out to be jet hot coated. Stg 2 headers are rather difficult to get in and out of the car, but managed to get it done. Now currently working on getting the crossmember mounted in the car. This way when the transmission comes back from the shop throw the converter in, wire the car, and start it up.
I will say, im extremely happy to get a motor back in this car, and even more excited to have it running on the EFI in the near future. Also here are some pictures of the bracket i made for the vintage air defroster/ heater that mount where the old gigantic heater core mounted
