All the songs I see here have been overplayed a billion times. I guess that is why everyone hates them.

speaking of billion anybody like Alice Cooper's Billion Dollar Babies.

Hotel California is not the only song on the album

Pink Floyd? Really How can that be overplayed you have to listen to the entire album to get it with this group. The Wall.

Go out and Fire up that Buick and amp it up that music will get you going can't hate that sound.

you have to have a real stereo system to appreciate the music

All this crap music that has been overplayed will not happen on XM's Deep Tracks ch 27 I have heard music there that I have never heard before from all the same artists you guys mention here.

There I have heard Faces, Yardbirds, CCR, Stephen Stills, Rick Wakeman, and so on.

Bruck Springcreme now that one can go off the air permanently The only one he did that was any good was with the really old one. the 1st one.

Jefferson Airplane the only one any good Starship sucks.

"Last Christmas" is ONLY overplayed at this time of the year... You NEVER hear it from January 01 until after Halloween, when the Christmas music starts. [Thank goodness!!!]

Ok I know we were only supposed to list five, but I thought of a few more. If you are old enough, you may remember some of these obnoxious songs:
"You Light up my Life" by Debbie Boone. When this was released, it was inescapable. A song so icky sweet you can get diabetes just listening to it!
"S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y Night" by the Bay City Rollers. Congratulations guys you can actually spell a day of the week.
"The Pina Colada Song" by who cares. With the irritating refrain "If you like Pina Coladas......" well I don't so stop singing!
"Kokomo" by the Beach Boys..."Aruba, Bahama, come on pretty momma" Give me a break!

Right now I’m listening to Black Sabbath’s ‘The End’ live show from Birmingham. My music collection leans toward heavy and bluesy, with the most area under the curve between 1969-1990. Allmans, Hendrix, Led Zep, Skynyrd, BB King, Albert King, Purple, Priest, Lizzy, Nugent, Sabbath, SRV, Kiss, Pink Floyd, Mother’s Finest, Van Halen, Iron Maiden, Dio, Crue, ‘Tallica, and to a lesser extent the hard rock that’s all over the radio.

Dio and The Cars are probably underrated. Patrick has a good list here. For newer stuff I like some Secret Machines and Dead Confederate. Pure Morning by Placebo sounds good cranked up. Also some Pixies.

By the way Grace Slick has said over and over that We Built This City is one of the worst songs ever recorded. So So Bad.

Another by the way. Totally off topic but...
There was a Journey video game. It was actually a very good game. Had a screen for each member. My favorite was the drummer shooting at spiders. I too am not a Journey fan. REO too... Same song over and over and over and over...

Oops. Gotta wait 63 more seconds to post. 1... 2... 3... 4... Ready or not here I come...

I love delving into deep cuts. I ‘discovered’ Thin Lizzy this year. I’d heard ‘Boys Are Back’, ‘Jailbreak’ and ‘Whiskey..’ so many times I couldn’t stand them. One day my wife plays ‘Little Girl in Bloom’ and I was hooked. Man they’re good. Recently took a fresh listen to Def Lep’s Pyromania. Tonight was Ozzy’s bootleg with Randy Rhoads (Bats Head Soup) and a live from the soundboard recording of tgem in Kalamazoo in ‘81 or 2. Then Ozzy reunited with Geezer and Tony. Then ‘Tribute’. May listen to some Chris Joss next. Or Metallica’s S&M 2. Have it but haven’t listened yet. Or I’ll dump out some of the Billy Strings CDs a ‘Cat’ sent me.

Yep, they were something special together. Listening to them right now on Tribute ‘Children of the Grave’. Randy didn’t want to play Sabbath stuff but he blew that one away. If you like Sabbath, I highly suggest ‘The End’. Iommi owns that performance, Geezer has never sounded better, and Ozzy is holding up (with help) pretty well.
