It is a no for me. If I get the China Covid, I'll just take some Clorox... done deal.
Please don't take this serious, it's a joke. Just saying

If you keep politics out of the conversation, it can be done. We had annual flu shot threads that hung in there. Just for the record, I intend to get the vaccine as soon as it is available to me. If people refusing to get the vaccine gets it to me faster, I am OK with that.:) Nobody is forcing anyone to take the shot, although it might be a requirement for employment or schooling down the road, not sure how that will work out.

If you are forced by an employer or by store regs? You are being forced to have the shot!
Just like not being forced to wear masks turned into no mask no enter!
Or back in the old days, no shirt no shoes no service!
Like term desensitizing we didn't even realize back then?

Certificate Of Vaccination I.D. ?

Immunity is not simple. People who experience shingles have already had chickenpox when younger. That would suggest they are "immune". Once infected, the virus continues to live in your nervous system until you die.

Singles "outbreaks" are unpredictable, painful and dangerous (since the virus is in your nerves, some people go blind from sores appearing on their retina.)

The vaccine you refer to is old and deprecated (ie not used anymore).

    Current vaccine info here:

I don't know, maybe I'm just lucky. At 74+ years, & hopefully counting, I have diabetis, BUT NOT overweight, I too have had shingles & didn't know what it was until I went to see the doctor & he confirmed that I had it. Wanted to give me a shot, BUT I refused. Was it painful, YES, did it wear me down, another YES. As far as Covid I WON'T be getting a shot either as I have NEVER had a flu shot.
Like I said, "maybe I've been lucky". MANY have told me it's a virus & it spreads by touchng yourself with your hands in various places/ways, BUT even though it's a virus it's still a bacteria & bacteria CAN'T servive in grease, which my hands usually are. Is the grease protecting me, I don't know, BUT I will keep on beliveing it is, as many of us here are in the same situation as far as grease is concerned.
AS of the moment I have been in close contact with others who have had it. AGAIN, maybe I'm just lucky. IF I do contact this virus MAYBE I will get vacinated, maybe not.
Just my thoughts on the subject.
    Continue on.

Many people get Covid and either don't have major symptoms or only have minor issues. Others Die.

    It's not a bacteria.

Hopefully, you remain well and keep the grease on your hands for many years to come.

What is the difference between a bacteria and a virus?
Bacteria are single-celled, living organisms. They have a cell wall and all the components necessary to survive and reproduce, although some may derive energy from other sources. Viruses are not considered to be “living” because they require a host cell to survive long-term, for energy, and to reproduce. They survive and reproduce by “hijacking” a host cell, and using its ribosomes to make new viral proteins.

:DLet me play Devil's advocate here. What if she is swimming towards a crowded beach, and she is 20 yards from shore, and said shore is crowded with mask less people who are in the midst of an argument, screaming at each other. Let's further say she lives in an area that has a 50% positivity rate, and she has several comorbidities. What do you think, honestly, not so stupid? "Judge not, lest ye be judged" Matthew 7:1-3?

I got mine today, second one in 4 weeks. I am immune compromised so surviving Covid is not a good bet. Slightly sore arm nothing like the senior flu shot.

Yes, but he spent some time to state facts. Let's hear some of the naysayers state some facts to go along with their opinions as to why it's not a good idea to get vaccinated. I'll have diet coke with my popcorn, please. :D

I never got the chicken pox so I got a vaccine a few years ago. But I did get both kinds of measles and the mumps all before I was 7 years old.

Did anybody get a cold or the flu this year? So far nothing for me
