Actually not in garage now, just delivered :TU: Will try to get pictures of current project this weekend.
2nd. pic. My project was the body & paint! Don Hardy built pro stock car from 1974!!! Last year track champion at Muncie dragway!
Earth Shattering Kaboom Turbo blade disintigrated sucked through into a cylinder ? Either that or a drunk pump jocky filled you up with unleaded instead of Diesel ou:
the turbo took a crap and started letting oil into the intake. from there it carboned up on the intake and would flake into the cylinders. that my take on what happened at least. i guess i left out the fact that the turbo was ruined.
Here is what is in my garage. Too hard to get a picture of them when inside, so here they are sitting out front of it. And yes, they all three fit in there--it is tight getting the one in the middle though.
Here is our 69 project. We picked up the rear end last week and the paint showed up to. The VFN 4" cowl hood should be here shortly. It is coming along pretty good. We are hoping to take the block and all the other stuff I have accumulated to Brian Earrick next weekend for the build up. http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?t=96558
Your project is coming along very nice. What are your projected perf. numbers for the car?Keep us updated.
After many seasons of planning to start getting the GS back together, I finally did it this winter :TU: Got the motor and trans back in yesterday. Still have along way to go, but it least I took that first step back!
U have tons of room I have 3 feet of space on one side and 2 feet of space on the other side of my garage. I have a bunch of bathroom sinks and counters at the front of my garage because of an investment my dad made, so the car is wall to wall or rather wall to sink in the front and rear. Ill post some pics tonite.
Little update. The black top is now on, the bumper is at getting rechromed and the trim is being put back on. (The before shot is in my Avatar)
Well considering I just got let go due to budget cutbacks and outsourcing in this "recovering economy ":af: ........... NOT MUCH. Spending most of my days kissing these :moonu: trying to get a decent job in this area. But before the economy "recovered " me I put the Electra up on stands took all four tires off, took out the radio to finally get it fixed and started cleaning and prepping for the spring. I also rebuilt the rearend in the Dart and almost ....... almost ordered the new carpeting and package shelf for the interior. If I can find a job fast enough o No: I might be able to get the tires and inspection on the Buick in time for GM Carlisle. But the way things are going around here ... I doubt it. The next thing that might be happening in my garage is a sale Dan
Kinda same story in my garage, economy and lack of steady income have me working on other peoples stuff to get by, my stuff is dormant !
