Please slow down in work zones, it's pretty scary standing out there with folks on the phone, texting, eating, shaving, applying make-up in their cars at 70+ MPH... :af:

Wow, I get an Email update on this thread so I check it out. I noticed I made my post in 2003:eek2: Thread revival FTW.

So, I figured I'd update my "What do you do for a living?" since things have changed.

In my original post I said I wanted to start a speed and performance shop but money was non existent. Well, all I really had to do was sign away my life with the bankers and the money WAS available. lol. So, that's what I did. I opened Overkill Street Performance and Racing in Feb of '08. We specialize in making ANYTHING streetable(with an eye towards forced induction). My 464 Buick powered Nova runs low 9's/hi 8's and runs on pump gas with a hydraulic streetable cam and a bit of NO2. Car is tube framed and fiberglass a flyin' 2819lbs with me in it. I use it as a tool to show my customers that if I drive this thing on the street(alot) then your more normal car is a piece of cake.lol.

As much as I work my butt off and seem to never leave the shop on time, I love what I do. PS: If any Buick brethren want to look up Overkill Street Performance on facebook, check us out and if you want give me a call. I LOVE making fast cars and a Buick powered one is like icing on the cake.

I'm a Senior Network Analyst for the US Navy's Trident Submarine Base at Bangor, Washington.
I keep the computers and computer networks going for the Strategic Weapons Facility Pacific (SWFPAC).
The Submarine in the pic below was taken here in Western WA. just up from the base, the Mountains behind it are the Olympics.
The picture of the the three missles and the tomahawk missle is right outside my building (back towards the left - the brown building).
The largest missle in the middle (one that is not painted white) is the current D5 missle in use on the subs today.
