I'm sure you don't get to Michigan but if your company builds the Xience V stent, I just want to say thank you! Mine is in my 2nd Right Posterior Lateral artery (as of last summer) and things are flowing as normal. They were very concerned about my aorta being so large but there's no aneurism, no detachment, no problems with it other than being large. I just wanted to tip my hat to you and those you work with.

I'm a public school (K-12) technology director. I am responsible for everything that plugs in for our district of around 1,740 students and a little over 100 teachers. I have one assistant who makes my job much easier than it was in the past.

    Here for it.

I was 17 when this started haha. After 6 years military 6 deployments including contract. 6 kids. I realized I suck at everything else but working for myself.

So age 35. I am a small business owner of a commercial powdercoating company. I absolutely love my job and will never work for a boss again.

I’m an IT manager and currently at a tank construction company. We have a rail division and an industrial division as well. Kind of a challenge (in a good way) as I’ve always been in larger companies with decent sized IT departments. I’ve got two interns and a long time IT consultant helping me out.

    Tried retirement, got over it.

Was design & release engineer, mostly Ford, Got spit out of automotive in '08.

Wife's health in decline, started an e-commerce biz. Sold it after ten years.

In '19 got back into auto again, Milford Proving Ground.

And a shout-out to you folks on the repair side...you can thank me for getting those $#**^* spring lock connectors off the fuel system side. They were bad enough on the AC.

I still do some consulting work on Fuel & Brake but it's rare. I still get some calls on the work I did on Helium leak detection for fuel fill stuff.

I'm close! I'm still with the same employer. Cut my hours from 40 to 32/week 2.5 years ago. During this summer I used a bunch of accumulated PTO time so often only worked 3 days/week..... that was a great balance between work and having a life outside of it.
I'm an Engineer in high-end display manufacturing. I specialize in vacuum coating, usually anti-reflection and transparent conductive coatings for EMI shielding, and lots of neat other stuff I can't talk about.
I still enjoy the technical and social aspect of my job, but I could sure use the time to enjoy other aspects of life.
I turned 60 yesterday, the time factor puts the 'what do I want to do with my life' into a different perspective.
