Tom...Its a good thing though...Look at it this way, when we come across a car we don't really....ummmm...desire,we pass it along to others so they can have vital parts for their cars. I personally don't care for verts, but if I found one with useable parts,I'd be willing to help a brother out. I didn't mean it to sound harsh as it did. I can say that even though I personally wouldn't go out of my way for cerrtain cars,I wont appreciate them. Hey,its a Buick and its better than a Ford for instance.I bet if the right color combo and car came across my path,I would certainly change my mind...

I have found this thread to be very amuzing . I have to agree some or rather most of the above mentioned vehicles are butt ungly , but I still find it fun to look back at how things have evolved . Now in todays world of disposable cars we have another generation evolving .
After 1976-1977 that they all look alike. They just played musical chairs with the drivetrains. Some models went out of their way to be extra ugly though. Remember one man's art is another man's garbage. Mikey

One thing this thread is good for is to show opinions are like :moonu: . Some people have picked cars that are nice looking. Some people pick trucks that are cutting edge. They say they are ugly. But that's my opinion. As long as I am happy with what I own, I guess it doesn't matter. If I worried about what others thought of my old cars I sure wouldn't be driving a Buick to start with. But, I LOVE THEM!!!!
I used to hate all those Gremlins and Festivas. Then something funny happened I got my a$$ handed to me bya female in a 401 cross ram powered gremlin. I'll leave out the specifics but I'll say I wouldn't mind loosig to here again ! Then that Festiva. Jay Leno has one with a Tarus SHO engine mid mounted and its blindingly fast . With flared fenderwells and 17" performance tires it handles and can whip almost any car on the road. I had a Vega so I have to say I like them myself the early ones though
I never liked the '63 Skylark. That is one ugly car to me. The '63 Oldsmobile is quite ugly, too, with the straight horizontal blade grille design.Really BLAH looking. Homely.Fugly. The '63 Starfire is right on,though! Another car I can't stand are the little boxy '85-'87 Cadillacs. Even the Eldorado and Seville's are butt ugly.
The F10 was datsuns first shot at FWD it may have been ugly, but you could do a clutch FROM THE TOP - never under the car,:dollar: :dollar: in about 30 mins - loved that Chilton labor guide$$$$!!
I recently bought a 1977 TR-7 with a Buick V-6 motor (won't start), a 350 turbo trans, and a 8.8 Mustang rearend. These cars were ugly when they were brand new, they don't get any better looking when they age.
