We have a great string of days with highs in the 70s going here. Some flowers are still blooming and a few frogs are still croaking in the creek bottom. We have been out with the convert top down. It looks like it will last until the weekend. But we are still in the highest category of drought. From looking at the weather maps a lot of the nation is getting ice and cold weather so I suppose we should not complain.

I would trade any day now for some warm weather.

I bought a snow plow for the front of the truck this fall, "just in case" well, I am glad I did.

Ice storms and snow like crazy over the past couple of weeks, and more on the way tonight. Boy I love the upper midwest.

I feel your pain of having to drive with the top down :moonu:

    JIm,
The A/C is on full blast up here.

Heck we would be happy to see highs in the 20s.

dammit, Al Gore promised global warming, I wonder if he wants to come to Iowa right now and see how warm it is.

Got a chuckle out of the radio station this weekend. There's a parade downtown and the announcer said "Dress up it's a little Crisp today". Our high Sat. was 6:Dou:

It is 18 right now, feels warm, no bugs and the :beers2: stay cold:bla:

We have family up in Rolette North Dakota. When my wifes uncle called over the weekend the high was 1 and the low was -18. We also have family in Basin Wyoming I think it high 18 and low -1 there.

Just got back from another top down spin to the drug store. I will call this run the Larry H. top down run.

Current temp = 78 with a low temp tonight of a brisk 55.

Took the trash out to the curb this morning in my underwear and flip flops. Sunday morning my youngest daughter and I walked out in the backyard and picked some grapefruit and oranges for breakfast. It's been 60s for the low and 70s for the high here. Absolutely beautiful! Even opened all of the windows in the house to get the fresh air inside. But we need some rain also.

Yeah. I have all the doors and windows open now. Looking outside at all the dirt and dead grass that used to be my lawn wishing I could wash the car.

You southern guys are missing the advantage of living in the north. While you are fighting insects and mowing your lawns in the winter we get to direct our attention solely to our Buicks and keeping warm with the significant others.

When I left the house Saturday morning, it was -15.
