Yes I am, got it in the trunk ready to go. Just like that Stage1 sticker on the chrome top cover. Think I'll make a little plate to affix to the K&N top so that I can affix another Stage1 sticker:TU:
Yes it does look good all painted. I love it. I actually have to point it out to people because they just don't see it. That's the way I like it. The Chevy guys think it's all stock.:Brow: But more than that, I love the way it runs. I can't get over how much better the engine feels with the SP1.
I just put an order in for 3000 Stage 1 decals and I will have them for the BPG. The club will be pushing them at the event so look us up. $8 each for either GS 350, GS455 or the Stage 1 all with the correct raised prints. Quantity discounts will be avaiable.
Nice to hear that, but do you know where can I get the 455-4 decals with the correct raised prints too? We're talking about the raised textured buick logo too?
With a cold day in the fall...either Cecil (october) or Atco (november)...... 11.90's @113 Lookin good while doin it too!!!!
...looks like I'll be changing at least the converter before those events then :moonu: :beers2: Actually with the 1000hp I think he's good for a high 11.7 especially if he lets Moon drive itou:
Hey, I disagree with the King all the time. Fact is, his car went 11.90 at Atco, but he wasn't driving it. You want to claim an E.T., you have to be driving it. And I don't consider Bruno's car a "Street Car". It has a big cam (253* intake at .050), a 3500 converter, and 3.90 gears. He can only drive it short distances. I'd like to see him drive down to Yardley's with it if it is truly a street car. I've gone down the Track with Dave, and Moon. I'd like to go down the track with Alan and Bruno this year, if they will cooperate.:bla:
....and you'll have to kiss his ring in public now too :eek2: Bring it ....to Ohio in 2 weeks and I'll cooperate in lightening your wallet :eek2::idea2: :beers2:
I've already said to Bruno many times what I wrote here. He knows I respect him, we just agree to disagree:bla: September baby, September. Just make sure you get the Drag Radials on in time for the first time shot, and I hope you changed your wheel studs out from last year.
Larry. Get the %$^%$ AED on that thing and let us know how it works. We cannot take the suspense anymore. Please.
Thank you Doug - I've grown tired of both telling him that and listening to his excuse...I mean reasoning :bla: In fact, Said so just today, did I not Hammer ?? :3gears: Giddy-up !! :3gears:
Larry, Interested to know why you selected the AED 1000 over say the Holley Ultra HP. I am about to make a purchase, and would like to know how you came to your decision to see if I need to do the same thing.
Rob Chilenski at Stage1 recommended them highly. he has told me that he used their carbs on several customers cars and they run like fuel injection (his words). I looked over their site and talked to their president, John Dickey (he is on V8 under AEDmonster http://www.v8buick.com/member.php?u=15542). I decided to try one of their carbs and went with the 1000HO.
