Make a complaint on PEOPLE CLAIM, RIP OFF REPORT, BBB and the STATES ATTORNEY GENERAL. Bait and switch is ILLEGAL !
When someone does a search of their name these reports come up in the search for all to see your complaint.
Watch them squirm and call you to settle. If they satisfy your complaint "YOU" can take the complaint down, if not it will stay on the internet forever.

I have used these avenues with positive results. I left the complaints up because it took more than a year of B.S. for the losers to pay up.....but they did pay in full !

Sales people will tell you almost anything to get you to buy.

Was told if I bought a new vehicle at this dealership (I did) I was eligible for a loaner if my vehicle was serviced there. Dropped my vehicle off and asked for a loaner, they were "out" and didn't have any available. This was when Chrysler had it's "5 star" dealers. When the service advisor handed me the survey after the service work was done, he said if I filled it out there and gave all 5 stars I would get a free oil change. I said "no" and went home filled it out expressing my concerns with the loaner car and how I was trying to be bribed by the service advisor. I suggested that this dealership was more of a 2 star dealership instead of 5. I guess the sh!t hit the fan there, Chrysler and manager of the dealership contacted me and apologized, said if I had anymore issues contact him directly and he would fix it.

I could go on about multiple issues with the local car dealers, changing prices after you go back in 2 days with the money, "new" vehicle with 6,000 miles on it, the constant upselling of stuff you don't want, "in stock" but at a dealership 90 miles away, etc... Best one was when I got a postcard saying my vehicle was worth X amount of dollars if I traded which I thought was great, well that was only if my vehicle met certain conditions which it didn't, I don't think any vehicle would have unless it was bought new and never driven except back to the dealership to be traded.

Believe in buying local but was being jacked around by the local dealers and went out of town to look for a new car for the wife, what a difference at a dealership about 40 miles away in a smaller town. Have bought 2 new vehicles and probably will be 3 in the next year or so. Yes, there is the song and dance in price negotiations but the salesman doesn't run behind the curtain to the "wizard" (sales manager) and confuse you even more, he comes out and lays it on the line what their bottom price is.

I thought you handled it 100% (see what I did there?) correct. You were informative and factual. Isn't that the point of them gathering feedback? The "carrot dangling" price is BS, and they should have told you the real deal when you called. I would've been pretty salty as well. Heck, I don't think I could've mustered and 8 on anything related to the advertised price versus what it ended up being. The stealership games are such horse****....

I have a good friend who was the Service Manager at a Range Rover dealership in N.Y..
He told me that every Monday morning they would coral each departments managers in the conference room and tell them,
that anyone who happened on the property they were expected to fleece them out of as much money for things they didn't need I order to make extra money off of a customer.

I participated in the car business with my two sons and the dealerships will tell you anything to put your money into their pockets. Cut throat business at its worst ! ! !

When phone calls get you nowhere, sit down and write a letter to corporate. When you are right, you are right. There is no excuse for not getting an owner's manual with a new vehicle. Write a letter, thank me later.:) Letters get results.

I ordered a new 2018 Sierra Denali 2500HD Duramax last January. I haven’t had a new vehicle since 1987 when I bought a GN. Sales guy was a putz, like most of them are. He said barring any abnormalities, it would be 6-8 weeks to build the truck. Indeed a received a phone call, and the truck was built on the exact date given as the 6 week mark approached, and the VIN was forwarded to the dealer along with the invoice. It would be about 2 weeks for shipping. After 4 weeks, I called for an update, and the sales guy was going to find out. He found out that the truck left Flint and was in Lordstown, OH waiting to hop on a train. After another week, I called GM myself, and the truck was still in Flint, as they were in the midst of a trucking shortage. They changed shippers for me, put a “code red” on it, and gave me a projected shipping date. I called on that date, the truck indeed was in route, was scheduled to be at the dealer on “Tuesday”. My BIL happened to be at the BMW dealer in the same group on “Wednesday”, and said he saw my truck sitting there. Couldnt be, I never got a call. So I drove to the dealer, and there it was, evidently since “Tuesday”. This is the picture I took. So I waited for a call, both Thursday and Friday pass, and no phone call. I text the salesman Saturday morning, he said he was off for the weekend, but as of Friday closing time, no truck yet, hoping for Monday. Now I am getting pissed. I texted him the picture, said it was there likely since when GM said it was there. My phone rang 10 seconds later, and I could see his red face in his voice. I asked him how it could be there and him not know about it? Did you miss the smoke signals it sent when it arrived?? He said he was “driving around the lot twice a day looking for it”.

Sales experience notwithstanding, I am happy with the truck. Somehow I forgot to order the roof lights, so the $55 option cost me $300 and a day’s worth of my time dropping the headliner, laying out and punching holes with a chassis punch, and wiring them up... 504A845C-828A-43C1-AE6B-5F5DE6ED57BC.jpeg

You were way to nice, and way to generous on their survey. A 10 rating means perfection. The clowns you dealt with didn't earn the 8's you gave them. By all means do the survey again, and give them what they deserve.

Brought the wife's Buick Enclave to the dealer with the paint bubbling on the top edges of the hood. The SUV has a lifetime "SURFACE CORROSION" warrantee from the factory. After I showed it to their Service Manager he told me they won't warrantee a fix because it hasn't gone through the metal. But I have a lifetime "SURFACE CORROSION" warrantee from the factory. Doesn't matter, he says once again, "It didn't eat through the metal" so they won't warrentee a fix.

Now I'm pissed so I break out my phone and look up the definition of SURFACE. Upper most layer of a surface is the definition so I show it to the manager and says it still has to eat through the metal. After I ask him what grade he achieved in school and why he's being such a prick, he then tells me to take it up with the GM rep because I'm wasting his time.

About a week later I get a call from the dealer and they say bring the car in the rep will look at it, but I have to leave the Enclave for the day. Next day they say come and pick up the vehicle, so what's the deal. Now the rep has to get back to them.
A week goes by and the dealership calls me and tells me that GM feels the corrsion hasn't eaten through the metal so they won't warrentee a fix. WTF, I have a valid GM warrantee for surface corrosion that is in effect. Now I'm really pissed so I start calling GM and climb the ladder at the corporate executive level. Finally I get someone who will call the dealer and authorize the repair and paintwork on the hood.

A few days later I get a phone call from the service manager at the dealership who's intelligence I insulted. He says when would you like to bring it in. I tell him immediately, then he tells me they will fix the hood if I participate in the repair to the tune of $250. "NO PROBLEM" I'll be there first thing in the morning. I drop the car of and tell them I want an undetectable fix on this vehicle because it is mint. They proceed to "YES" me to death but I can tell by their attitude they feel they just beat down another sucker customer.

Little did they KNOW that I'm from N.Y. and we are on guard 24/7 for scams like this. Little did they KNOW I've had my own businesses all my life and KNOW how to handle situations to my advantage.
A week later I get the call to come and pick up the Enclave. They did a fabulous job and I complemented them and thank them up and down, I was so nice I almost wanted to puke. So we all smile and shake hands and I put the $250 +tax charge on my American Express card. I stop and thank the idiot service manager on the way out and he has this stupid grin on his face like he just got over on another customer. As I'm driving off their lot I stopped and called American Express and cancelled the charge.
Amex gets a copy of my "SURFACE CORROSION" warrantee and voids the charge in my favor.

If you use your head there is always a way around B.S. people try to shove down your throat. I have made it my lifes ambition never to get screwed over by anyone....so far it's worked out pretty good for me all these years.

Jason’s story must be an early April Fools’ joke.

Think about it guys, he’s always the one that gets cars or parts for dirt cheap prices...or even free in some cases. No one ever tricks Jason on a car deal.

Surely his Dodge fever can’t be so strong that he’s willing to be beat out of $2300 by a car salesman! Say it ain’t so!

Or maybe Dodge really has turned up the fever for 2019:

Good thing you only buy a new car every 52 years. That's dealership life, those surveys are huge in today's world and gets the dealership bonus money. As far as free oil changes they would be valid at selling dealership only. No local dealership will honor that. Good luck with it, it's a beautiful car Still waiting to see if the line loc works on yours as well as it did on the rental.

Whoa!! Stacy finally posts something!! And Im 51, not 52!!! I had it out today making the rounds with it. I had a hot redhead in the passenger seat too! ;) Still getting used to the clutch and shifter. 425 miles so far. I love this thing!

Your not getting a limited production performance car for much under sticker. I got the car for sticker less the incentive/ discount Mopar was offering. You really cant get much better. When we bought the Boss 302, we paid MSRP as well. We actually found the only dealer on LI that had one in stock AND was willing to sell it for sticker. Every other dealer wanted $5k over.

Jason you know we’re all just ribbing you because you’re a good sport. If your happy, or at least an 8/10, then that’s what matters. Happy motoring.

So can I buy your ‘71 for MSRP?

Yep, saved the window sticker. I found some delivery paperwork and some quality control checklist too. I'll even save the temp tag once I get the NY plates.
