Looks Really nice John:TU: Howd you get the paint from discoloring on the heads near exhaust ports? Was your car an original AC or not?

    Mike,
That's easy, you need aluminum heads:laugh: The paint stays on them even near the exhaust ports. Aluminum dissipates the heat much faster than cast iron.

Thanks Steve. Your ride is looking pretty awesome as well. My car is a factory non air car. My secret to not having the paint discolor, is to never run it. I really have no idea why they have not discolored, I would imagine, by the end of next summer, they will look as weathered as anyone elses. I really need to take some pics outside, in the sun, not at night in my garage. The outdoor ones have much better lighting. Hope you have gotten most of the bugs worked out, I still have a few to get rid of.

    Regards, John.:TU:

Thanks for blowing my cover Larry! I was hoping for the stealth look. Guess I didn't quite make it? Funny how those things work out. I'm opening up the Holley tomorrow, wish me luck.

    Regards, John.:TU:

   Anyone that knows Buicks can spot the aluminum heads. That is why they haven't discolored. Mine look like the day they were painted.
