    Hey folks

I have been off line for a few years under the Weekender user name and dropped the ball on this project. When I got back on line I had a bunch of PM's requesting information related to this project.

I haven't been building them for a while due to other issues in my life but I still have all the parts lists adapter designs and even had Phase III tested but not fine tuned when I got derailed.

Just wondered if there was still any interest in this type of system?

Absolutly. If it will support A/C then count me in.

A/C is the big issue for me as well.

I have put a Gn Serpentine system on my 455 everything bolts up perfect, the only problem is that you cannot use a mech fuel pump and you have to come up with a way to make a resorvoir for p.s, so really if everything lines up on a gn then you can go billet with one of champion racing's p.s and alternator brackets if you do not have a.c. also power steering seems to do fine with no whining. very pleased, cleans up engine compartment. I have yet to hook up a/c lines. so dont know how that is going to go. Ken

Ok, here is what I am willing to do. I have found a source that may be able to water jet the adpaters for me, at what cost? is the issue.

My goal is to have a system you can install with no welding, you can simple bolt it on. That is the Phase III project I was working on when I got distracted.

I will keep you posted as to my costs for subleting this work to determine if it will be worth mofving forward on this.

I have installed a gn serpentine on my 455. The only thing is you have to mount a resevoir and use electric fuel pump. Everything lines up fine. looks good.

I'm looking at modifying a serpentine system off a late Rover V8.

So far it looks very doable

I'm interested and about to pull my motor for a swap. This would be a perfect time to fab it up on my new motor.

As far as I know Larry does not do this anymore. Just not enough interest to warrant his time. Too bad, the system works great.

IDK why people don't just use the GN setup UNLESS you're absolutely opposed to eliminating the mech fuel pump. It goes on as easily as it comes off the V6. Just a thought for those that are looking for serp setup. Additionally, if you ever have plans to go add a turbo, supercharger, etc... the entire passenger side is completely bare. I used it as a perfect spot to mount my coil and few other goodies.

I modified my GN setup for a MUCH cleaner look no AC tho, but its very tight and compact

Yours turned out nice as well Hugger. I basically bolted mine in exactly as the V6 with the exception that I eliminated the WP pulley since I was using a Meziere electric pump. Still worked great! Only thing I had to really do was fabricate a bracket to hold the custom aluminum P/S rezzy but that was EZ PZ. Hardest part is sourcing the GN hardware lol and that's pretty EZ too if you go over to www.turbobuick.com

Hard to get pix of the entire setup while it is installed but here's a pic from the side w/ the rezzy.
