    Re: My first scratchbuilt hot-rod

    Adam,

How long till I can do it, or how long will it take??

How long till I can do it.... depends on how things go... looking at Winter/Spring 2004

    How long will it take?

That depends on how much cage you want .. typically a full cage will take 6 weeks or so, start to finish. Obvioiusly, this will all be custom built.

    George,

Very nice, tasteful wheel tire upgrade. Specs on the wheels/tires?

Tell me more about the disc upgrade, prices, part numbers and install.

George, that is one really, really nice looking 67 GS. And that 37,Joe that thing is wicked, street rods are awesome. My dad had a relly nice 40 f@rd coupe when I was a kid we took it to the street rod nats a couple of times.I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with that car yet.building a street rod is more like an engineering feat compared to building a 60's or 70's car.Buick street rods are cool. A correct throttle rod and kickdown bracket sure would look nice under that hood. (See parts wanted section):Brow:

Here are a couple of pics of my 67 GS400. It really hasn't been anywhere in 5 years. Moved, got married, kids in college...Yada...Yada...Yada....you know the story.
Just did a complete brake job and cleaned it up. Hope to make E-town on the Saturday of Labor Day or Cecil County Md in October.
Looking forward to meeting some of you folks there!

    Regards,
    Mark
