Buickstreet.com wants you to submit! I want everyone of you to submit these incredible cars to http://www.buickstreet.com . I am extremely excited by at least...all of them! Please guys, submit your high quality photos to me at bill@buickstreet.com and I will notify you each when your cars are featured. I ask you to support my site because I spend every night and every weekend working on it just for the love of Buicks. In the meantime here is a picture of me in my Australian Right Hand Drive 1966 Electra 225 (no, the image hasn't been reversed we drive on the left hand side of the road here in Australia). Bill Submit those Buicks!
Lookin' good! I saw a beauty of a 67 a couple weeks ago at a car show. Silver metallic w/black buckets and mini-console. The 64-5's are my favorite still, but the '67 gained a new respect from me. C-L-A-S-S
I am not computer literate enough to post pictures of my early rides, but you may have seen my Purple 37 Buick coupe with a 455 running at the GSCA nats a few years ago. I also have a 57 Buick Special 2 dr hard top mounted on a 72 Electra chassis. the coupe is a street rod and looks it , but the 57 looks original.
Joe, get Roberta or ?? to help ya get your pics online. or if they are digital already, e-mail them to me and I'll do it for you. I'd love to see both of those cars. I think I'm more of a hot-rod addict than a muscle-car junkie. o No: But I do like 'em both. I'd like to find a nice '56 Buick to restify if I ever finish the projects I already have. That would fit the electra chassis the same as your 57 wouldn't it?
My first scratchbuilt hot-rod Yep, that's the stage 2 in there. Just put the cam in but still have to get a cam-swap gasket set. Hey JW, how long to put 'er on the frame table and install a cage?
It certainly is handy having Roberta just 4 miles away. She has been like a personal secretary to me for years, and I could not imagine not having her expertise available. She shoots a good game of pool also, so we have some good battles in my Buick Room:blast: :beer
Good shifting a 4-speed and shoots a mean game of pool. That makes at least 2 things she does better than me! :ball: At least she doesn't know extractive metallurgy (I hope) Joe, that 37 looks great. My pop had a 37 Chev a little lighter red than that at one time. What ET do you get out of both that and the 57?
The 37 has a 2.56 axle and runs 14.0s at 100MPH in the first two gears. I built it for the highway and did not know at the time that a 200-4R would hold up under the 455. I have never had the 57 down the track. I have not installed seat belts and they won't let it run. It is a one legger anyway .so it would just melt the right tire. My 72 GS has a 200-4R and a 3.31axle ,and that is the perfect compromise. It is a 3990 lb. convert with AC and it runs in full street trim 13.0s at 106-7 and pulls 18 MPG
Extractive metallurgy: when you take the cans out of your car/truck to the recycle bin at the grocery store to get your $0.10 back in Michigan!
