I'm pretty sure you regularly violate owners of old cars. unless you let them violate you, thats how you get them so cheap.. hmmmmm, the chicken or the egg?

I went to a car show a couple weeks ago and I went saying to myself there has to be a GS here. I found a few but the one that caught my eye was a green 71 gs350. It looked like it has been restored a few years prior, but was nice nonetheless. I'm looking it over and I see on the rad holddown "Buick 350 2bbl" It also had no clock or tach but did say gs350 on the dash pad. I didn't ask the owner any questions but I can't fault him because clone or no clone you gotta love saying you own a gs!

I was reading a magazine article about the GSX. They said it had heavy duty leaf springs and the canadian built ones had a 12 bolt. :Dou:

Now THAT is funny but at the same time shows the attitude, and you see it online, here, everywhere. If you are going to criticize or comment on something, might want to look at your own stuff first....

    Just a thought. :Do No:

Well, if nothing else, the car was born with a 351 engine, just the regular hydraulic lifter 4 bbl version. :Dou: If it had a factory 4 speed, then cloning it would have been much easier.

Myself, I'd rather have a C or J code. :beer

    chryco63 14's or bust!

Overheard at the local Mopar show, one guy to another: "No, no, no. The 'Cuda is the hardtop, and the Challenger is the convertible."

Brilliant. :Dou: I hope the other guy closed his eyes to the 2000+ other Mopars at the show so that he couldn't discover just how wrong his buddy was.

I thought the 327 was available with a 4bbl. in 1962 rated at 300hp so the movie would be wrong?

The expert tire witness character was also wrong. He said he used a Hewlett Packard model 5710A gas chromatagraph with flame analyzation detectors. Its a flame ionization detector. :Dou: Geez, any idiot would know that

But was that setup available in a Bel Air?

The expert tire witness also says that the tire marks were made by a 75R14 tire with no mention of the width. How in the world could you determine the aspect ratio and the wheel diameter by analyzing tire marks? :Do No:
