I think every neighborhood has at least one jerk living close enough to be a pain. If the south had the monopoly on this, I would have moved years ago. The next time the jerk comes to your house, tell him to leave and never come back. If he does, take out a warrant on him for trespassing. The odds are he won't be the least bit sociable after that, but it doesn't sound like that would bother you much.
