About 2 months ago we bought a new house at the end of a cul-de-sac with a pie shaped lot. We checked with the city and the developer to see if we could put in a free standing shop. We submitted plans for a 28’ x 30’ shop with 9’ walls and 10’ peak with sewer and water. It would be a metal building with a 18’ overhead door. The city said “no go” on the septic and water but ok on the building size. So here is the layout.
Walls will be Tan, roof light tan , and trim dark brown. Spray foam on all interior surfaces with 3/4” stained plywood on interior walls
My, My,... Dons been a busy boy! Looks good and the light colors and insulation are gonna be a Texas Bonus! Think about AC and heat too? ws
Is it because of the warm clima, that you don't have any insulation in the floor? Here in could Denmark, we use at least 300mm "flamingo", and first we make a "rim" round, and then dig out for insulation and concrete inside.. Sadly I don't have a lot of pictures, my wife is the photographer
Nice! Shame about water/septic codes. Maybe a Thetford and garden hose between, weather permitting...
