There is something about finding them like that. I'd just drive it like the time sapsules they are!! Alan, where the hell did you find that beauty??? Oh and the car too??lol
Buick Friends ... board members here found it and contacted me and I couldn't resist. 29,xxx original miles ... that pic is the first time it was out of that garage since '84  big block 400/400, AC, original everything. Fired right up after a oil prime too Its waiting for me to pick it up in chi-town. RoadTrip time
I'd love to get my hands on something like that. Especially i'm trying to find a good used enclosed trailer. Only other car I would consider pulling a trailer is my GN. And I don't think that would go over too smooth.
Alan, Thats freakin cool. Nice score! I'm kinda thinkin of hotrodding a wagon myself next-(have looked at a couple cars) would be cool rummbeling around with the wife and the 4 kiddies in a "hot rodded" Buick wagon
I thought i'd post an update.:dollar: :dollar: :dollar: :dollar: The frame is complete and going in my neighbors garage this saturday. Now i am at the mercy of a body guy friend. Who is doing the body shop part time after his day job. So what going on is, he's taking 2 parts at a time. The parts that aren't attached to the body. He has my inner wells and when he returns them, he'll take the 2 doors, then the core support, then the hood and deck lid. Then when all the externals are done, we'll start on the body together in my garage. Thats after I get my 65 Lark into another garage. I have limited space so i'm renting a few garages in the neighborhood. I found 2 so far and hoping to move 1 or 2 of them asap. Once the body on the rotisserie is in my garage i'll probably start doing some stuff myself. I'm pretty sure I cant screw up basic sanding kind of work. Getting stuff prepped. Stay tuned.:dollar: :dollar: :dollar: :dollar:
I got a theory on that- same experience here on CA cars- my GS CA was way rusty on the inside but was solid in other areas. My fuse panel was rusted out, hardtop rust on the inside- I reckon condensation; water gets in, evaporated in the sun, got cool and condensed inside @ night... for 20 years (84 to 05 )
There's different parts of California.......my Cali car is dry as bone inside and out....... Peace WildBill
Man I can't believe how clean that thing is!:eek2: My next purchase is going to be a cali car. :bla: The good part!
Then and Now Restoration made me a set of seats just like these they did for a convertable........can;t wait. You gonna make the Power Tour in South Bend ? Peace WildBill

Well it's almost time to get into full swing here. Finally starting back up into this car. Here are the fenders. Still cold here, you know what happens. You get one warm day and you get right to work. It was like 60 here monday.
Joining this thread... Good work man! I love how you are not afraid to try a frame off with all the tools that make it "easy". Cant wait for more pictures :beer
