I am sorry for posting that on this site. You really did have me worried that you were mad at me.

I am glad to hear you are able to get back to work on the car. Plus that is good news you got your kitchen done.

I am going to take a break from this site for a while. Things are not going that well for me now and I guess I am acting funny

Thanks for the offer of help !!!!

I will be fine with a little bit of time and rest.

Hopefully by the time I come back to the site you will either be done or close to it.

    Take care and sorry again.

Ok so guys, looks like due to health I won't be finishing my beloved 65 GS restoration

Open to offers. Hate to see it just sitting still

I will post it in the Cars for Sale shortly

Frame, suspension and rear end all done and rolling, with Disc brakes up front. Body 95 % done too and is on a rotisserie. Which will be included.

I am very depressed about it too.

Ok Bobby, I'll get some pics together and email you.

Colorodo car, every bolt came out. The soda blaster guy knew it wasn't from around here lol. Perfect rockers and quarter panels. Water got in the trunk and rusted the rear speaker deck, which is new now and I also put in a 750 dollar 1 piece trunk pan. And also put a toe pan in the drivers side. All the metal work that needs to be done is both rear inner wells need about a 2 inch piece to connect them to the floor. Then paint the underside of the floor and it goes back on the frame.

Did the frame in Satin cause it looks better with contrast, satin frame and glossy underside floor pans. 2K paint from Eastwood.

    Joe,
Sorry to hear your health not letting you enjoy your project. Is this the same car I helped you get the motor for from NC? Wish I were closer I would be interested in the car or you could find a member close to you that could put it back together for you.

Bummer Joe,I was wondering what was up with your build.
I'm in the same situation, bad back, carpel tunnel, bad knee.I've got my 69 project just sitting in the garage because I have to pick my physical battles. And my car isn't on the list yet. Drives me nuts to think of what I used to be able to do when I was younger.
Take care man & good luck with the sale buddy:beers2:
