How did that monster run going down?

I babie it going down to SC. Had the speed police riding shotgun (wife), ran it most of the way down at 65-70mph, no bonzai holeshots out of toll plazas and it knocked out 24-25mpg. Not to bad and I had the AC on most of the way. It ran at 172-175 temp on the hiway and 178-180 in traffic on an 80+ degree day.

Sooooooooo glad I got all the cars to SC without incident. Probably another month on garage then I can "PLAY" with my toys !!!!!

looks great! When is the lift coming in?

  12. tufbuick

    tufbuick RIP

Lift will be the icing on the cake that will be coming last. Still have to do electric, water, insulate, sheetrock, lights, A/C and heat, epoxy floor. Shop area has to be finished and all new driveway blacktop. Been working on it this long so I'll be patient as to the finishing touches.

That floor was done in a gray epoxy with multi colored chips thrown in for good measure.

BiggestRed will have the right bay and Nasty and the Stage1 will share the left bay.
No more laying on my back to work on my cars, only way to go !!! :TU: :TU: :TU:

Wuz hoping to keep it around 35 but it ran away on me. Everything is so damn expensive nowadays.

I follow you on that number, but look at it in another way. You now have what you wanted instead of saving 15 grand and not been happy with how it became because you would save money.

The way I look at it is......."You only live once and I ain't gettin' any younger" !!!

Why did I work hard all my life, so I could leave my bucks to my kids. "NOW is ME time".
